Agreed, but it also should be noted if you make an order from them to achieve some discount and find there was an issue or it wasn't what you were expecting, it's incredibly quick and painless to refund those items shortly after ordering. I experienced this myself recently and after seeing all my refunds were handled properly, I got my order re-sorted for the lower price I was looking for.

Saying "do your research" without saying what the problems are and pointing to some credible sources isn't very helpful. Please go check Wikipedia, which points out to "concerns over data privacy, forced labor, intellectual property, and the quality of its marketplace products"

It's definitely helping my family a little bit, I just had to replace the brakes on my car and that was a bit costly. That said, this specific Temu store is selling official Lego sets for varying and mostly lower prices than Lego so I personally think it's a good idea for anyone who's thinking of buying a sealed Lego set here and there for themselves or perhaps to test the collector's value in 10 years. This store is the most affordable way I know of to get some recent sealed Lego sets.

@@Bioburningk I’m not deeply aware of any issues with Temu but I’d be interested in hearing all criticisms. I know there are some low-quality products on Temu but I was very curious about this because these are official Lego products that are often being sold for less than Lego’s prices. So I don’t think it’s a scam or morally divisive to promote a store they have that sells good Lego products with solid discounts. :)

It's mainly a "refer a friend" type scam site where it's pretty much a pyramid of asking friends to do the referal thing which causes them to ask, etc... etc.... I could go deeper, but just.... TEMU is incredibly shady and has a few.... heavily questionable practices....

According to Wikipedia and it's many referenced sources, Temu ships products directly from China, bypassing US, EU and whatnot regulations, so you end up with items that have been made through forced labour and can contain dangerous materials and chemicals. As for non Chinese made products, seems like some stores are trying to clear their storage by selling their outdated, expired and low quality products. I don't think LEGO products would be subject to much of these issues, it's then up to the consumer to consider if buying from a morally bankrupt company is ethical or not. Edit: no ire directed at Callan here btw. Not all people are aware of these issues. The Super Bowl ads made Temu and its cheap deals very appealing to everyone, while the scandals haven't made enough noise yet to be widely noticed

Yeah, sorry for all the ads, but these are official discounted sets in many cases.
