Depending on the dental office you work in, but utility gloves are usually meant for handling sharps and sharp instruments in sterilization. Not for cleaning an operatory room.

At minute 3.08 it shows the user putting the pouch into the chamber plastic side down. This is a incorrect placement. The Manufacturers Instructions for use for this particular unit states loose pouches must be placed Paper Side Down. This is a gravity process Sterilizer and as such Paper Side Down allows any moisture to wick out the paper side during the drying phase. Ultimately the best procedure is to place the pouches in a rack, on their side giving the best results to dry.

lol you got it all right except for the siren example. In emergency services we call that siren mode “wail” it would’ve made that sound even if the ambulance wasn’t moving. Nice try. in the future use a train horn which is a constant pitch sound that will illustrate your example much, much better.

These videos are very brief excerpts from our full simulation-based training modules. I'm sure some might look similar - e.g. preparing for a minor surgical procedure, preparing skin for a minor surgical procedure - but the full modules are much more detailed, with full-length videos, explanatory text, applied anatomy, multiple simulation scenarios and a quiz.

Hi there! We are not trying to replace hands-on training, which we agree is absolutely critical. The idea behind SIMTICS is that you can learn at a cognitive level and build "mental models" of the procedures and skills before you ever get to a clinical lab or clinical site. And also build confidence, which many students struggle with when they start learning. It works, because our customer schools tell us this all the time.
