Would be good to focus on reliability, as they otherwise do pretty much the same thing. Do they stay connected or have a habit of dropping the connection for a few seconds every so often? I currently have this problem with an almost new Garmin sensor. I'm waiting to hear back from their support. I had bad experiences with the expensive Wahoo sensors too. The cover for the battery is extremely difficult to remove and tends to get damaged when replacing the battery. Then it doesn't close properly and this causes connection problems. I'm still looking for a reliable solution. I may try the cheaper options next.

Whould you recommend wahoo cadence or wahoo speed sensor for zwift? Thanks!
@girlbikelove15 күн бұрын
A speed sensor would be enough to get started. You can check also the Magene S314 which is a Speed/ Cadence sensor (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mM1_haSHsr7VlYk.html). Of course, to have the 100% Zwift experience, you will need at least a pair of power pedals. However, you can start with that and see how it goes!

@SPOOKY_HAND2 ай бұрын
Broke my collarbone and been doing 2h spinning sessions for a month. For those who want both DATA (heart rate) and DISTANCE, I found a way to trick strava. You just need a multisport/runnnig watch. I use Wahoo's RIVAL watch, in "treadmill" mode. This mode tracks distance (zero in this case as you are not actually running), heart rate and path(min per km). Once I finish, I adjust the distance on the watch, then upload the activity to strava and edit changing "treadmill" for "cycling". It keeps the distance, Average speed, heart rate and kcal. Because of switching from running to cycling, some data like CADENCE, POWER, and detailed speed are not ok. It's not the ideal solution but it works if you want tIo keep on counting distance when injured and have no rollers.
@SPOOKY_HAND2 ай бұрын
It is also important to create a new bike called "spinning" and link this bike to this activities. Otherwise, Strava will add those distances to your main bike.

What would happen if you just turned your bike computer on record with your heart rate monitor on? There would be no speed but there would be watts,cadence and heart rate.

I thought you were supposed to have a slight bend in the leg when at the bottom of the pedal stroke?
@BaritoneUkeBeast4Life29 күн бұрын
I was just about to comment on that myself. I am new to stationary bikes, and just got a Peloton today and watched a number of videos here on KZfaq discussing proper setup and adjustments for stationary exercise bikes and all the other instructors in the videos said to make sure your leg is not locked when the leg comes into the full extension position and that it needs to have a slight bend as not to damage the knees in future. The author of this video also didn't mention that when both feet are at an even height and parallel with the floor, that the knee should not be even with the ankle or past the toes, it should be just over the instep is. Also it should be mentioned that if you have a pedal that uses a toe cage, not to put your foot all the way in to the end of the cage, but only in far enough to have the ball of the foot directly over the pedal.

What’s the model number to the X wing gel bike seat cover you reviewed. Also the one I purchased upon using it for the for the first time, I struggled to get it on the spinning bike seat, which I assume was from small to medium size. Does it require a break-in period?
