Why is this guy gating off nothing?

Don’t waste your money save up for a good gate opener. Mine has been problems since I opened the box it came in.

So, the steps are talking about connecting the transformer, then briefly mention connecting the battery harness to battery terminals. There is no mention of what else happens to the other end of the battery harness... It then jumps back to the transformer connection. There is never any mention of then you plug that in, either. Is the controller running off the battery and the adapter keeping the battery charged, or the other way around? (I will be helping a friend install his new opener and hope the written instructions he received will clarify this sequence of steps!)

These are and always have been rubbish, don't believe me and buy one or two or three,,,,,

Even at the transformer end, the wires should have crimp connector eyelets.

I can`t believe how you put the transformer wires into the control module at ( 10:23 ). All the strands should go into terminal opening. Sloppy work.
