No puedo creer que vi esta obra en el canal Film&Arts sin saber que años después Bryce se iba a convertir en mi nueva obsesión como la voz de Stolas. Genio!!!

I wish you could by these separately like on dvd or Vudu. I swear, I’d buy Falsettos, Holiday Inn, Something Rotten if they had it, etc. 😩

So I have played drums for this show, and the comments on this video absolutely sent me. Therefore, I will state a couple facts: Fact 1: he didn’t do it as good as Fred Astaire. Fact 2: NO ONE will EVER do it as good as Fred Astaire. So, for all you saying Fred Astaire did it better, no fucking shit. Unfortunately, Fred is dead, so get off your high horse and enjoy some great work by some great artists. Quit focusing on the talents that have passed on, and give a modicum of attention to the talent that is currently with us. On the off chance you haven’t noticed, some of the talent that’s ALIVE is pretty good. Y’all want to go on and on about the greats of the past, and I get it, they were great, maybe even the greatest. But they’re gone; that’s fact. They aren’t here any more. So at least give some credit to those who are following in their footsteps. What the greats did was art, and y’all should be more appreciative of the fact that their art is being sustained through the current generation. Even if it’s not as good as “back in your day,” it’s better than not being there at all. Rant over.

Kerry was great, but that girl signing It's Never That Easy was so off-pitch with a tone that was all over the place it was hard to listen to. There was no nuance, and it was clear she had no idea what she was singing about or who she was singing to. The only version of this duet I've heard that's as good as the original where both ladies are equally good was with Jen Collela and Marya Grandy.

This is, most certainly, the definitive version. Nothing can ever top this, not the Broadway revival where they changed the choreography and most certainly not that horrible film version from a few years ago. Long live the ORIGINAL version of CATS.

I confess that until I saw the recording of "She Loves Me", I was unaware Zach Levi was anything but the actor who had played the title role on the TV series "Chuck" and had played "Shazam". He has a great stage presence and a fine singing voice.
