@XSpamDragonX As far as I know. MEC in RB and SB is the same. Around 90% to 94% prop pitch for P47s is optimal, then keep your mixture around 80% You don't need to adjust much else while in flight

@benewolf7963 It's pretty much the same. In the video, I say radiators at 20%. But run them at 40% - 50%. Corsairs tend to overheat at 20%.

Is the P-47 not a really bad turn fighter?

A Bf 109 has many chances against a P-47 in a turning fight. o7

@@leobramrock8933 At high altitudes the tables are turned. The P47 retains much of its engine power and can still maneuver well due to its massive wings and control surfaces in the thinner air at high alts. The 109 is out of its elements so to say, also the 109 pilot clearly was not very skilled - spun out during maneuvers and lost a lot of energy.

Not for sim no. There is no instructor You could bind auto trim but auto trim is so bad I wouldn't recommend

@@ninjato5611 that is true but the main problem is number of players at top tier. As I indicated too many times, Gaijin must either increase the map sizes or decrease total number of players (which they will implement for Air-RB in the new update). Can you imagine 12 F15C's with minimum 6 FOX3s/each?

​@doganaybalaban5080 It's really not that bad. Learn to defend the Fox 3's a bit more. Go nose hot, nose cold when needed. And force the merge if necessary. Part of problem is that some players don't use the entirety of the map and clump up in certian areas.

For example, when in magneto 1+2, which is where it should be, then switching down to magneto 2. The aircraft will lose some power. By default when switching to MEC control, magneto are at 1+2, so people don't actually have to bind magneto up or down really as it's already at 1+2.

Yeah basically there are 2 magnetos per cylinder for redundancy reasons and to increase efficiency. Some engines also need to use specific magneto settings when starting up irl but that’s probably not really modelled correctly in game.
