In children mouth breathing is the most common cause of obstructive sleep apnea, so I guess in adults also significant. Dry air irritates mucosa, leading to mucosal edema, smoking does too. Psych drugs, sedatives, also relax throat muscles among other apnea effects, leading to obstruction, this is very common in infants, so again probably in adults. Evidence for drugs causing this in adults, such as benzos: "This study suggests that sleep apnea syndrome can be associated with some drugs (mainly psychotropics)" Can drugs induce or aggravate sleep apneas? A case-noncase study in VigiBase®, the WHO pharmacovigilance database, 2016. Let's just call it, it's the drugs again. To top it off, ace inhibitors cause respiratory inflammation which leads to apnea. (Btw I'm on an albendazole/prazi course and this is the first time ever that my sinuses are clearing up in the morning)

I seen my cardiologist for the first time today. He was the doctor to advise me my blood pressure could be from sleep apnea. So I decided to reach the information I was provided today. Looking at this video confirmed I chose an amazing doctor. Thank you for this knowledge

Same here. My heart was beating abnormally and I was experiencing chest pain. I insisted with my doctor that I get a cardiologist referral and they were the one who told me to get a sleep study. Sure enough, I had sleep apnea. Hopefully you have a cpap machine by now. God bless!

I've read the small print on the SPRY gum and mints, it say, "Raw materials from China and USA." Is this also true for the Xlear Nasal spray?
@tmjandsleep

I checked with Xlear, Inc and their response is: All xylitol used in Xlear and Spry is imported. It is also Project non-GMO verified, pharmaceutical grade purity, and once it arrives to our warehouse it is independently third-party tested for quality.

I have these times during days (lasting from 10 minutes- a few hours) where I can’t stay sitting or laying down for more than 5 minutes at most. I feel like I have a TON of energy and I have the extremely strong urge to just start shaking like crazy to try to get out as much energy as possible. I have also tried exercising (like doing push-ups or other stationary exercises) to get out the energy, but I feel like shaking does it best.
