Thanks! It's a shame really but they seem to have lost focus on what they want to achive. The pricing debacle was just the thing that made me reconsider my options. It's good to hear that things are changing. I know of a number of projects are just to far in to really back out like I have.

The nice upside to working in an open source engine is that if something just straight up doesn't work the way you want on an engine level you can try to change it :D

Oh definetly but I am comming from being an artist into programming (although I actually was schooled in programming). If I really hit a brick wall I may climb into the guts of Godot to fix it (and I love that I can). As a solo dev I see working with an engine like this is kinda like having a team behind the scenes helping you out :)

If we all had a dime for every time we made a promise to upload videos more regularly...we might have a dollar. Something's always better than nothing. And when you restart, you never restart with nothing. Best o' luck.

Yeah I should have seen it coming but sometimes it's good to have a deadline to work with. And yeah all the unfinished projects and experimental things I have made in the past have lead to what I have now. Thanks for the encouragement!
