Al + 3HCl --> AlCl3 + 3H but HCL is mixed with water so : 2AlCl3 + 3H2O --> Al2(OH)3 + 3HCL then aluminum hydroxide + hydrochloric acid remixed with water. the reaction with baking soda in your example is only caused by hydrochloric acid 😉, the result is salt + Water + CO2 To obtain alumina, you just have to roast the aluminum hydroxide at 1100°C In your experiment, you dont have alumina but aluminium hydroxide

This statement is completely false and this not any kind of illegal thing or drug. It is just potash alum. You can search the word "potash alum" and study about it online. So please don't post such comments about drugs or anything. This video is purely educational and it is also taught in 11th and 12th class. These practicals are also done in our schools.
