Do girls not do bench exercises that often? I feel like many of these would not work for bench exercises where the back of the head is pressed against a flat or inclined bench?

You straightening your hair is loose wavy curly texture ,the treatments is already smooth out your hair really well definitely 290-320f can did. this job ,but curlier type hair especially tight curl pattern flat ironing impossible 290f ,curlier type hair need more higher levels heat to straightening out least 350f.
