I know it's been quite a while since this video, but it would be amazing if more were made. Despite aggressive research, I haven't found a single creator that goes into explaining in such detail as this. And with our driving instructors refusing to teach shorter riders (in my case, barely 150cm), it's the only way we can learn.

Thank you for your video! I am a short driver too but I have a smaller bike. My question is: there are plenty of motorbikes, why not driving something which feels more handy and maneuverable? In fact, sometimes roads are not flat and we may even find ourselves in a situation where we can't chose the right spot to stop, but realize there is a hole or a small down step under our bike. Of course we can dismount from the side, but we may not always be ready for acrobatics. Please understand, I am not criticizing at all, in fact I have enjoyed and liked your video. I would simply like to learn what is the best to do to fully enjoy driving, without challenging our limits on a daily motorbike experience.

Probably because of the look of this bike. Some smaller bikes aren't as attractive and it's more fun riding something you enjoy rather than something just for convenience :) im 5ft and all the bikes I enjoy are much bigger than I am but I refuse to settle for a smaller bike just so I can flat foot

That close up of how the OS6 fits was really helpful for me, I'm pretty sure one of those will fit on the pannier rails on my Bonneville

Thanks for doing the video, as a short rider this opens up other bikes to us, I am 5'7" with an inside leg of 29" definitely handy tips there, I know some people are saying get a smaller bike, however this is taking away our options on the bikes we want to ride, in this case the Tiger 900RP that I have owned since June 2022, yes I have dropped it through my own mistake on a camber, it's not happened again and I also take the bike off road, loads of fun for us that are verticality challenged as long as we are careful when stopping. I have noticed you haven't posted a video in a while. I hope all is well, take care & please let us see another video 🙏

try pointing your front tire the other direction when getting the bike off the stand, requires a lot less strength :)

Hi Good Review, but was wondering are the rear bags a quick release from the base, so that you can take the individual bags into your room at destination? Or do you use a internal liner bag inside the Kriega bag

I like the "mount in motion" bit, you make it look so easy! I can do it on my push bike and one day I'll try it on my V-Strom 1050 XT. I just need to find some soft ground in case of gravity problems. Thanks for a very helpful video.

Good review👍🏽, I just decided on the 6 liter after watching your video, especially because of your explanation about the attachment to the bars. I already have a Kriega backpack, I love the style and finish. Thank you.

In Japan, riding my brand new 71 TS250, slowing for a red light, Japanese rider on just released CB750 passes us, comes to a stop and kicks the side stand and leans the bike onto the stand all in one motion. Light turns green, he jerks the bike upright, kicks the stand and drives away, again all in one motion.... never once touching the ground.

How much wider do the panniers make the bike? Do they stick out much beyond the mirrors?
@FillyAdventureRider9 ай бұрын
I don’t quite remember on the top of my head how much the panniers build to the bike, but I they build somewhat more than the mirrors. However, they are not as big as hard case boxes nor Lone Rider bags.

Funny you mention the rear footpeg fel off. I noticed the same on mine, luckily before the footpeg disappeared. Mine lost the C-clip that holds the footpeg bolt. I could not find a c-clip at the hardware store, so i just took off the whole rear footpegs, i dont really use them.

Hi Filly, Had the 800XC for 6 years. Loved the bike. Although it had some early bugs like the stalling while idle'ing. Nothing to worry about when standing still but when changing the gear and the bike quitting was sometimes no fun. Twice almost died. Trying to get on the highway and needed to get in front of a truck and a car. Was maybe 15 meter in front of the truck while suddenly the bike stopped running. And no-where to go, to escape. Nothing on the bike worked as f.e. the brakelight. Ohww. It is all getting back in my memory. 🤕🥴😵💫 The truck almost run me over and nothing i could do. Only hoping that he would react. He almost had to stop on a very busy highway. It had all the ingredients of becoming one big mess. Strangely it was a few km'ters from where my dealer was. So at the next possibility got of the highway and went to the dealer. Although i had to go to my work. I explained the situation. It was then that he started to smile. While 10 minutes before i almost died and maybe also with the possibility of creating a big mess of several cars and trucks running in to each other. Others could have died too. It is still making my butthole sweat. After that i cleared a thing out the dealer changed a certain part on that bike thar sas the cullprit from the beginning. The problem was fixed after that. Never happenend again. Made very large trips around Europe with that bike. It has a perfect powerdelivery. And cruising at 140 kph is perfect. When ever looking for a bike to replace this one. The Husqvarna Norden 901 would be a perfect bike for you. Maybe even the Norden 901 Expedition. But that last one is a bit tall. Maybe. The incredible gain what you would get with that bike is the extreme low center of gravity. It would let you experience riding even more then with the Tiger. Keep on riding and have safe travels.👍 Greetings from the Netherlands,
