Hi buddy how do you stop your pump from overheating if you're not close to the machine and have to take your finger off the trigger?
@outdoortoolsandtasks
@outdoortoolsandtasks Ай бұрын
How long are you looking at stopping for? If it’s only a minute, I’ve always found it to be fine. If it’s going to be a few minutes then I’d just stop the machine and let it take a chance to cool down.

Hi mate well these machine's apparently have a thermal relief valve built in to stop the pump overheating but I'd rather not trust that. So far so good mate it seems very powerful I've only done 3 jobs with it so far though. How are you finding yours buddy?

@@baileypemberton7498 I’ve never had any overheating issues, but if I need to stop for any reason, I always just turn it off and give it a chance to cool down. Love it, couldn’t be more pleased with it. Pays for itself with the amount of work you can get done with it

You're better off doing this job in the summer. Blast all the crap off, make it look like new, leave it to dry completely, then re-sand the joints with kiln-dried sand, sweeping it into the joints then leaving some sand on top for the wind to blow into the joints after you've gone.
@outdoortoolsandtasks
@outdoortoolsandtasks 2 ай бұрын
It was the last week of May I think when I did this, but unfortunately this is the British spring/summer time for you😂. I agree about the sand and maybe sealed too, but the customer didn’t want it doing in this case. Full cleaning Vlog is on the channel if you wanna take a look at it 👍

@outdoortoolsandtasks I always insist on using sand for the customer. Then, they can't blame you when the blocks start moving and sinking after you've blasted all the sand out. 👍
@outdoortoolsandtasks

@@Miller4866 definitely my preference to sand it as well as the reasons you’ve said, it just looks loads better. So long as the customer understand what they’re getting and they’re happy in the end, that’s the main thing I suppose.

@@baileypemberton7498 Get yourself a buffer tank to get the most out if it, if you don’t have one you can get a wheelie bin from B&Q online and get the kit to convert it from a company called AC pressure washers. Do a few jobs for family and friends to get before and after pictures and maybe even record a few time lapse videos of you cleaning to make your advertising stand out more online. Good luck!
