one window...few packets of rice...chainsaw...and guy is happy. I admire his courage and dedication to live alone in the middle of forest so far away from first village, yet having no problem with communication with people. Seems like a wise old person filled with stories. I wish him all the best...he has done what few of us have courage to try n that is to fight the mother nature in her best and her worst. Mother nature is not forgiving...him being alive after so long alone.. is already a proof he is not so fragile as he looks. He is a true warrior. Much respect for the guy.

The teacher gets their childrens attention because they can focus on a small group of kids and give them their full attention. In the west we cram 25-35 kids in a single classroom and expect them to sit still and pay attention.

Worst I've experienced is -20°. It's not fun but unbearable if it's windy. There are no activists throwing paint on fur coats in the Artic regions because they are a necessity to survive!
