My problem is grass surround this building I can’t cope. Mow grass I run for my life. Too many people around, I can’t either. Can’t be indoor 24/7. I may have another health diagnosis parallel with TILT which makes TILT clinic fail to meet my ability. I have too many rare health diagnosis. I see wood material on buildings, can’t either. I love apricot and raisins. No reaction. My situation is far complicated.

First thing to supporting my sensory needs. Lower the pit of the sound at the beginning of this video.😵‍💫 Great resource btw, it was really helpful. I myself am on the spectrum and I didn't know a lot of these resources existed.

We can take any number of these typical inane examples discussed everywhere and illustrated here, ad nauseum. For example: "Through social stories on the way to the grocery store. You as a parent or teacher can show/tell your child what is expected of him/her. Then if s/he complies during the event s/he will receive a reward." So what we have is intimidation through social story telling (i.e., this is how you behave and are expected to behave) and bribery (i.e., by complying with what we should do, what I expect you to do, you will get a reinforcer/reward). Impoverished, Depraved and Destructive. Good Job!

As a Developmental therapist working in field for over 20yrs, please get the F away from your back asswards, unempathic, non-developmental imbecilic and antiquated four functions of behavior, gain access to attention, objects: avoid/escape or automatic self stim function. It has not only from an developmental scientific evidence-based biopsychosocial perspective but from a basic human empathic reflective capacity ZERO validity and is extraordinarily misleading, incompetent, harmful and destructive! Labeling and addressing the four functions of behavior is the perpetuation of a willful and convenient schematic idiocy on the one hand and an emotional bankruptcy on the other (arguably a functional autism in its own right) with respect to your and six decades of peers and advocates autonomic nervous system capacity, i.e., state regulation, to feel safe enough to know how to slow down and begin to attribute purpose and meaning and thus begin to emotionally engage with a broader understanding, dignity and nuance your child and other children.

People in my life has often said my condition is too difficult to understand or believe. This is not difficult. I have found it’s only difficult people who refuse to. Thank you for presenting what your research has revealed. I had a TILT experience at age 30. Later I had children who received autism diagnosis. According to my experience the condition is one and the same. But most do not believe this could be possible. Maybe because they haven’t lived it. If I can minimize exposures I can function fairly well. If I can not control the environment to meet my sensitivity needs I am in a meltdown then shutdown with no functioning ability. My heart breaks that their are those potentially on the spectrum who might be able to live a significantly more comfortable and tolerable life if their environment was adjusted to their sensitivities. But you have to unmask and go through the process methodically. So wish I could get disability. I’m 59 and my income source will be out soon and there will be a gap between that and social security. I’ve been homeless before because of this condition and don’t want to land their again at this age. Not easy to convince the disability protocol this is actually a real disabling condition.

Seven years late but fluorescent lighting was a huge thing for me. It made me miserable the entire time I was in school, and I was never able to eat at school because I could smell everybody else's food, was in an already very loud cafeteria with nothing but fluorescent lighting, and was always was too cold or way too hot. It literally feels like everything is attacking you, and so many of us are misunderstood and are just expected to deal with it. Tell me why I'm diagnosed with fibro instead of autism, and yet whenever I step outside my pain and stress disappears? I'm functional, just not in a society where I'm expected to leave behind my basic animal instincts and needs

I wish I could make it through these kind of presentations without crying. I'm really grateful to think that children growing up now are actually being treated with respect and abusing them for these symptoms is less acceptable than it used to be (and still is for adults on the spectrum). Nobody should ever have to go through what those of us now in our 40s have.

Doctor's videos are useful and I actually learned a lot for midterms. He is an insightful Doctor in Europe and he explains health symptoms! Go check out his YT out and give the med student a like! ➡️ #DoctorEthanQandA

The function of a child's behavior is a complete and utter farce perpetuated for 50 yrs. Try advancing to the paradigm shift that begun in mid 1990's to Developmental Affective Neuroscience, e.g., Interpersonal Neurobiology, Polyvagal Theory, etc. The understanding of behaviors as emergent properties of affect/physiological state regulation. Co-affective emotional reciprocity. Visual-facial, auditory-prosodic, tactile-gestural. Our subcortical and HPA axis that bi-directionally and dynamically connects with executive functioining and FEELINGS of autonomic safety versus fight, flight or withdrawal/dissociation. ALL of the above is facilitated epigentically and emotionally through Relationships.

Thanks to everyone taking their time to read this testimony on how my son was saved from Autism. He was diagnosed four years ago, and he's just 6, I have tried several treatments and medications, nothing was working out, this got me frustrated and depressed. I kept praying and finally God answered my prayers when someone from youtube introduced me to this doctor from his home country and gave me his contact details. I called and explained my son's condition after which I made an order for his herbal remedy, he asked for my address and the next day I got a tracking number for a parcel sent to me through DHL and after four days I received my order. It was a liquid herbal medicine and a letter containing the instructions on how to use the herbs, I called him again to confirm and the next morning I started giving my son the herbs as instructed and after one week I noticed great improvement on my son and I continued until the herbs got finished and everything lasted for just one month and now my son is totally free from Autism, he can now talk clearly, behave normally and has no more seizures. If you've been searching for a genuine solution for Autism, connect with this honest Doctor on Whats App + 2 3 4 8 0 7 7 6 8 3 1 0 9 or ( solutionhealinghome@ gmail. com ).

Am here happy and I want to tell the world how my son was cured from Autism. He was diagnosed 2015 and we have been treating him using medical medications but nothing was working out, he was not doing better at all. One faithful day, as I was discussing outside with a friend concerning what am going through right now, a stranger who I don't know heard us discussing about Autism, she walked down to me and told me to try call Doctor Nze +2348116004247 that she will help me, I contacted her and discussed everything with her and she said she can help me. After six days I received the herbal cure medicines from her and I started using it according to the instructions giving to me and God has finally put an everlasting smile on our face and my daughter is OK and good. what if autism is part of a human evolution? as with everything else, chaos before there is order. In the next human evolution diet and state of mind are the most important aspect for coupling with the change. We wont be consuming gluten, dairy and meat.

it is widely believed that people with ASD traits are in fact the reason we evolved. due to unique thinking of the autistic mind it couldve been the reason we started using stones that created the stone age. the same with the bronze age, then the iron age and every big evolutionary change that we have had to adapt and survive.

I want to thank you for validating so much of what I do. My boy is just now 6. I've always coached people on how to approach him and to deal with him when he's "had enough". It wasn't until he hit grade one this year, that anyone said, hey, you know he does some peculiar stuff, well of course I know....yeah, we should look into that.....Oh. really? He was hearing impared until he was two and a half. At this point sound and sight are very overwhelming for him. I seem to be the only one who gets that. It wasn't until I started looking into spd for him, that I realized I fit that bill too. When there is too much sound around me it all becomes white noise and I hear nothing. For my boy he gets aggressive like he's trying to physically push the stimulation away. So many of the things you talked about for audio I've already done on my own for him. THANK you for this video. I know I"m doing what's right for him.
