What route did you drive from JHB, booking numbers, and pensioner rates
@DGOverlanding2 ай бұрын
Hi. We drove from Johannesburg through Bloemfontein to Middelburg (Cape) where we camped at a lovely place called Welvanpas (see our review). From there we travelled through Graaf-Reniet, Willowmore, Uniondale, George to Victoria Bay. Contact them on Tel: 044 889 0081 or Cell: 083 530 8143. I used the cell which they seem to monitor all the time. It's best to contact them with regard the pricing, or see their website victoriabaycaravanpark.co.za/pricing/ as they have various rules etc. pertaining to pensioner rates. NOTE: On the way down we detoured from Willowmore and 4x4'ed through the Baviaanskloof. You need a 4x4 and in places its rough and there are some hectic water crossings. Enjoy !

Are you responsible for the donkey boiler fire or the camp keeps it burning?

Hi. Best to speak to your doctor or pharmacist regarding malaria - specially for children. Regarding flies, we've not had any problems with flies at any of the camps. Enjoy your stay.

Thank you so much for the review. This is such a beautiful place. We will definitely be doing this very soon and will link your channel for people who are looking at new camping spots, your channel is great! Just a quick one with the wood fired hot tub, I see that you said that you can order one, does it come at an extra cost? If so, how much do they charge?
@DGOverlanding5 ай бұрын
Hi. Yes, it is a lovely place. Regarding the hot tub, please refer to the Rotsinbos website home page . The terms / info for the hot tub are on there - except the price. Price is currently R450 per day. Minimum 2 day rental. But best to confirm when booking please. Kind regards.

@DGOverlanding Жыл бұрын
Hi. You will have no problem in getting to Jabula with a GTI, in my opinion. Also most of the roads in Dinokeng should be ok, but all depends on the rain they have had. We have not been to Dinokeng for a few months.

Hi Dave . It is rather difficult to see exactly what the size of the various camp sites are especially when you mention that they are "small". Can I suggest that you actually indicate the size pacing depth / width to give an indication in approx mts. This will be more useful for future campers. Thanks for the info.
@DGOverlanding Жыл бұрын
Hi Joe. Thanks for the suggestion. Will include that in future reviews.
