My son wants locs. I had someone give him two strand twists back around Easter and we're letting those loc....but whenever I try to retwist, they unravel almost immediately...so I'm thinking about interlocking for him.... I'm just a bit nervous. But for an active little dude I'm thinking this might be the right direction to go in for him!

I have had my sisterlocks for 3 years and have been a follower since your previous loc journey. I'm excited for you and this new journey. We aren't supposed to remove the balls at the end because thats what helps seal the locks but i'm not going to lie, I cant help myself I cut them off. I used to rip them off but I stopped and started to trim them. I only remove the ones that are hanging far off. I know its slowing down the locking process but I cant help myself lol

Hello dear. Thank you for your video. My question is this combo of avocado oil and rose oil did you buy it or did you make it at home? Thank you 🙏

Heyy🥰, I was told that by interlocking it will be more difficult (or impossible) to eventually comb the locs out in future, is this true?

I too restarted and went smaller this second time. I had my first set of 248 microlocs for 4 years. I'm currently 8 months in this new set, so I'm following your journey with keen interest. TFS.

I really enjoyed your video. I believe in allowing a child to make the decision like locs themselves, when they are old enough. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your child. I just think a style like locs should be a decision the person should make themselves. Locs are really a life changing decision. Allow a child to be a child and grow and see if having locs is what they really want. When they're old enough to learn and understand the maintenance of locs and really appreciate the journey. At the end of the day that's your child, and this is just my opinion. Blessings to you and yours.

A child will always need guidance any hairstyle is really a choice. So at the end of the day everything will need to be a choice. leaving hair out, perming hair, loving hair its all choices parents make for their children. But Locs can be combed out not a big deal. As parent we will always have to make choices for our children. I really love this content

Hey, Girl, HEEEY!! I really enjoyed your video. As I have gotten older, I notice my hair getting lighter and i do like jet black hair. I will be 3 yesrs loc'd in August and I got color wax in blue to try a little razzle dazzle on the ends but I think I will do my first blue black since Ive neen loc'd then talk myself into the blue tips. I put pipe cleaners and rock what looks like a lot of bantu knots for maybe 2 weeks then the curls. Thanks again for this video. I feel less nervous after hearing and watching you do your think.

Which products that you use to uour loc
@laurakasuvu22 күн бұрын
I typically use rose water for hydration daily and a light oil to seal the moisture 2-3 times a week and on my edges. I keep my maintenance routine very minimal and simple. I wash with a clarifying shampoo. I currently use Faida Naturals but any brand of clarifying shampoo and pure oil will do :) Hope this helps!

Your hair is an investment but you don’t act like it is. Luckily your locs are progressing nicely I watched your first journey & curious as to how these turn out as I also contemplated going smaller but it’s been almost 5 years with 190 locs and I’m not sure I’d want to maintain hundreds more if the look of them once mature is not too noticeable. What difference have you seen having smaller locs , do you think your hair is fuller?
