You don't need to memorize all the combinations, just follow these rules: 1)-- The “small letter” indicates that you must remove the vowel sound from the character before that letter. シェフ C H I. e . F U - - > Chefu (chef) But there are three exceptions (for hiragana and katakana): a)-- If the “small letter” is {TSU} (ツ つ) then that letter has no sound but a pause is made when pronouncing it. キック KI. t s u .KU - - > Ki--ku (kick) b)-- when the “small letter” is {ya , yu , yo} (katakanaヤ ユ ヨ) (hiragana や ゆ よ) and the character before it is: {CHI , SHI } (チ シ) ( ち し ) you must eliminate not only the { i } sound but also the {y} sound that follows it. としょかん T O. S H I . y o . CA.N - - > toshocan c)-- When the letter before the “small letter” is the katakana letter {U} (ウ) ...since it would make no sense to eliminate it, it is simply transformed into {W} ウェディング U. e .D E . i . N .GU - - > wedingu (wedding)

No necesitas memorizar todas las combinaciones, solo sigue estas reglas: 1)-- La “letra pequeña” indica que debes eliminar el sonido vocálico del carácter anterior a esa letra. シェフ CH I . e .FU - - > Chefu (chef) Pero hay tres excepciones (para hiragana y katakana): a)-- Si la “letra pequeña” es {TSU} (ツ つ) entonces esa letra no tiene sonido sino que se hace una pausa al pronunciar. キック KI. t s u .KU - - > Ki--ku (patada) b)-- Si la “letra pequeña” es {ya , yu , yo} (katakanaヤ ユ ヨ) (hiragana や ゆ よ) y el carácter anterior es: {CHI , SHI } (チ シ) ( ち し ) debes eliminar no solo el sonido { i } sino también el sonido { y } que le sigue. としょかん T O . S H I . yo. CA. N - - > toshocan c)-- Cuando la letra anterior a la “letra pequeña” es la letra katakana { U } (ウ) ...como no tendría sentido eliminarla, solo se le transforma en { W } ウェディング U . e . D E . i . N. GU - - > wedingu (boda)

There is an error in the chart at minute 2:46. For making the sound "WO" there is no need for using small letters because we already have the katakana symbol ヲ and the hiragana symbol を --although when refering to the particle WO it is pronounced like "O" .

God ❤ you. Jesus died for your sins and rose the 3rd day repent and be saved. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 1 Cor 15:3-4 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”Matthew 3:2 Now I would remind you, brothers,of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. 1 Cor 15:1-2 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 1 Cor 15:6 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:13-14 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Corinthians 15:17 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:3-6 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:9-10 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. Revelation 22:12 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤riririeeoosk

Thank you so much I was having hard time with these too as well, I mean I have seen difference but it was still hard for me to memorize it. Also would like to ask about so and n since they look familiar as well, do they work same way or?
@YukoSensei4 күн бұрын
I'm glad the lesson was helpful. Yes, it works the same way with ソ (so) and ン (n). ツ(tsu) = ソ(so) : The strokes line up on top horizontally シ(shi) = ン(n) : The strokes line up on the left vertically

Why is it "Kyoto GA suki desu" and not "Kyoto WA suki desu" ? Because, Kyoto in not the subject of the verb it's "I" the subject. It's the theme of the sentence so it should have been "WA" ?
