For context: Michael Jackson was considered for the role but eventually was turned down. But he was such a fan of the film that he bought the scissor hands in an auction and were displayed at Neverland. Fast forward, MJ wanted to play Willy Wonka that much that he created a whole soundtrack for the film and the studios went crazy, they wanted the soundtrack but did not want to cast him as Wonka. MJ felt betrayed and he shelved the soundtrack. I wonder if MJ and JD ever crossed paths/ met. They had a common friend: Marlon Brando.

Tom Cruise 🤢 There's no way he could have done the character justice... he's sooo limited .Every movie he's the same character..only different scripts. Johnny Depp on the other hand is 🤯 multidimensional... Johnny Depp disappears into the characters.
