Bro, a brand new motor wheel would cost only a couple hundred, your time and tool purchase is way more worth than that
@TheBlazerBeamАй бұрын
I had the bearings and tool in just a couple days. I would have had to do work for a new motor too which was a couple hundred, plus shipping, and over a month wait. Sometimes it’s better to use your time to build a skill, do it yourself and now I’m set up to fix things again on this scooter and others.

Hey man....This is a really good video....easy to follow, right to the point, I changed out mine (The metal side post piece where you put the wrench was so worn down as it was the factory original on an old truck and couldn't get a wrench to grab anymore so it wouldn't tighten, I almost thought I would have to replace the whole wire but instead was able to swap the old part with a brand new one without having to replace the whole wire assembly....Much faster and easier to change the metal sidepost than to replace the whole cable! Only took a couple minutes and now I can put a wrench on it and tighten it down all for the price of the part and literally probably took me less than 3 minutes to do the swap and hook up the battery! You mentioned you are going to be looking into finding the source of a drain, I'm having a drain issue myself, the truck is older and usually I just keep the battery disconnected when I'm not driving it so your other video you mentioned sounds like that might be helpful as well....This was a great video, told and showed what to do, stayed right on point, helpful...A lot of similar videos they drag it on and on with a bunch of talking like they are just doing videos for attention like they are some comedian looking for stardom or something....I like videos that tell, show what to do without a bunch of filler stuff.

@TheBlazerBeam2 ай бұрын
The optic plate is raised 3/8”, yes. However, a milled slide would sit the optic significantly lower. Depending on milling that is roughly 1/2”-3/4”.

I watched yours and a couple of others, None are really installed correctly ..The part of your video where the spring is in place and the left end is curled out towards you is where the pointed end of the shifter goes and when you apply pressure inwards that will lock everything together without popping inside of the column. After losing 2 springs your way I did what the factory should have done, I drilled a 5\8 hole 2 in, below the shifter slot. with a rare earth magnet I went to the bottom of the column and slid the 2 springs that went in the other hole where the cardboard was used, now with the bottom hole drilled the screwdriver can curl the spring so the lever is nice and snug..I put. a rubber flat plug cover looks factory.. The spring install now takes 8-10 minutes with the column in the ca.. Thought I would share....

Thanks.! I love simple and this technique is sure enough simple.! You mentioned battery drain. I'm eliminating my battery drain with a remote battery disconnect switch from ZOZO Motors. Part Number 30248 bought on Amazon for less than $40 bucks. Already spent over $150 for a mechanic to find the drain to no avail. Now I've got another remote switch I'm going to just leave somewhere in the car. Again, thank you for your simple fix I couldn't figure out.

Take off the door panel, look at the channel the window sits in and the guide channel on the sides. Watch what happens as you roll it up and down.

My bro. If ypu need to do this again. Get a jet lighter and pick one point of the bearing. Get it super hot in one spot. (Preferably the inside so you don't kill the paint) then rapidly cool it. It will cause it to shrink. Even if it's only .05 of a millimeter it'll help your cause. If it don't come out do it again directly 180 on the other side.

I bought the same hitch. Most of my bolt holes were rusted on the car. I should have taken the time to tap them but didn't. Either the hitch or the car had a hole not aligned properly. I wound up stripping the hole when I went to tork the bolt down. The hitch is just for a couple aluminum bikes so I'm sure it will be fine. I put anti seize on the bolts in case I ever have to take the hitch back off. The ramps was a good idea.
