Thanks for your question. To get to the bottom of the problem, we may need to have few rounds of back and forth communication. First of all, are you using the subscription based Microsoft 365 version of Excel? There is not really an official 2024 version of Excel in the non-subscription version of Excel. As far as I am aware, "picture in cell" feature is only available in MS 365 version of Excel starting from summer 2023, and rolling out gradually to MS 365 subscriber. Were you able to put the image "in" the cell in the first place (instead of "over" the cell)?

@kenjirosarjonator1639, thanks for your comment. My first impression is that this approach seemed to handle both number and text too with the two IFERROR functions. When I actually looked into it, I realized it would not work for few different reasons. First of all, the second IFERROR function - IFERROR(H13&"",H13) would only return H13 value as text, regardless H13 cell is a number cell or text cell. When H13 cell combines with a blank text string, it will never turn out to be an error, so it always return H13&"". So, in this context, IFERROR(H13&"",H13) would be equivalent to H13&"". Secondly, if cell H13 contains numerical values, regardless the cell H13 being text or number, the formula IFERROR(H13*1,IFERROR(H13&"",H13)) will always return H13 cell value as number. When you multiply H13 with 1, either way, it return the value as number. It will only return the second IFERROR result (as text) when cell H13 contains text string values. In that case, the second IFERROR does not do anything as it is text in the first place. So, overall, this formula you mentioned will only lookup H13 as number if it contains numerical values; and will lookup H13 as text when it contains text string value. And it cannot lookup H13 as text if H13 contains only numerical values, while that value in the range you are looking within might be text value. I hope my explanation takes you deeper into the formulas world.

Which if the real AI transmits ultra euphoria or cohesion or love via VDLE to the humans and perhaps with a back channel vice versa humans to the real AI, it would already be this "love" interface stage.

Wow, eye opening! It never occurred to me thinking about sending VDLE from AI to human or human to AI. Now, when I think about some people's "downloading" experiences, it makes perfect sense.

The reason that Copilot does not appear on your Excel application Home tab, is most likely you (your organization) have not purchased the subscription for Copilot. It's not useful in Excel yet. The $30 AUD a month also gives you Copilot in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, which are more beneficial, as outputs from those programs typically are not subject to strict objective right and wrong criteria.

That's very true. Copilot is at very early infant stage. While it's not reliable for factual information, it is very helpful for generating innovative ideas and perspectives that an individual may not have the creativity to come up with. Overall, it's really like a small baby - rich in imagination and unable to discern the boundaries between the realms of reality and dreams.
