for me the game downloads fine, but doesnt run. I click play .. changes to "launching" and goes back to play. Game wont start. Running m1 mac air, Sonoma 14.5

While Stranglethorn is beautiful, one may be off put by the variety of exploitation of the land by capitalist goblins drilling for oil. Additionally, the local government has refused to clean Booty Bay following the cataclysm, and the smell of rotting seaweed is enough to keep any discerning guest away. 3/10. Cool parrots though.

Hey there! I was using an m1 temporarily because my main PC was getting repaired. The m1 ran classic great! I’m not sure about retail though I didn’t try that out. From what I’ve read though, the m1 can run retail fine. Maybe not optimal but it should run retail smoothly.

It happens to me that when playing on Mac M1, moving the camera with the right click and releasing it, there is a small fps drop that is very annoying when you play pvp, i have a macbook pro m1, so I uninstalled the game and now I can't reinstall it... Luckily blizzard returns the money when you explain the problem well, they are aware of their failure with the silicon macs. thanks for the help ill try your method

I had every setting the same except Latest update: 10000 kb/s. I allowed it and it started to dl the game immediately

Yeah, ran this place and it’s dungeons a bunch. Loved the architecture but despised the enemies. They always seemed to have a pocket healer and it was tiring

had the same problem, as of 10.2.5 and after a lot of doing the same stuff you mentioned what worked was removing the autoupdate like you suggested, restart the MacBook then go directly to update without scanning. I dont know if scanning and repairing multiple times also helped but i got it working

Yooo just found a possible fix/work around! I just; 1.)clicked the gear box next to update 2.) clicked modify update 3.) changed it to the top right most Asian language Idk if that will affect anything in the long run but it got the game downloading

It really seems to be something with the language. I speak Portuguese, but when i also selected English it worked.
