David Mathis is now owner of the company, he’s a great guy! You may go in as a client, but you’ll leave as a friend. I have a G70 and it’s an amazing work horse!

Michael, best of luck at Antone's. Spent many nights there in the 80's. Saw SRV, Eric Johnson, T-Birds, Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale, Fromholtz, etc. Great BBQ, too.

Great demo & superb playing but Ya’ll gotta change the video title. That’s an early 90’s Asat Signature model. Judging from the recessed bullet truss rod it’s most likely a 1991 model but sold in 1992 after BBE took ownership of G&L. That occurred during the tale end of ‘92 after Dale Hyatt retired. BBE immediately started implementing cost saving measures to make G&L profitable hence the plastic case… they also were under pressure from Fender to offload anything bearing Leo’s name in a timely fashion. For this reason, there are many ‘transitional’ Asat & Asat Classic models from this time period which have both Pre-BBE & BBE features. A satin finished neck and jumbo frets are tell-tale signs of BBE as all Leo-era finishes were nitro lacquer & feature low & wide fretwire. This particular instrument as mentioned most likely hails from 1991.

Kids like him are gunna grow up and respect the fact that there was a cool place like norms, where people kept it real and technology didn’t come into play. Sacred

Very tasteful playing and sound. Have a great tour, Lemmo! Watched an old video today with Todd (Wisenbaker) doing a flat top Friday demo. I sure hope he’s doing well. He was a great addition to the Norm’s team. Miss those “Edibles at Night”. ✌🏼

I sort of understand why the staff at Gretsch decided to make the Country Gentlemen a double cut model from watching this video. It had to be visually distinguishable from the Tennessean.

This is probably the ultimate George Harrison Beatles guitar, I say probably because the only thing it’s missing is 12 strings

Interesting that it was called "Without Love". We certainly hear that two word phrase more frequently then we hear the actual title of "Long Train Running". If I had started at the same age as Saxon, it definitely would have been my goal to reach his level of proficiency at the same point in life that he has. I would love to hear him and Michael jamming one of my favorite Joe Jackson numbers, "You Can't Get What You Want (Til You K ow What You Want)".

At 68 he's the best young performer I've seen. There may or maynot have been better pivkers but he knows what he's doing and how to put it together. He'll make a great one man show band leader and sesdion player like no other. He reminds me of Glen so much.

Kirk Fletcher in the house!!! I love his videos, whenever I'm in a crap mood I throw on one of his videos because that guy is always so happy just to be playing guitar and being around. I'm a big fan of his, he'd be fun to just hang out and have a cup of joe with and hear some stories!!! Rock on Kirk! Cheers brother!
