The Partnership of Historic Bostons tells the story of the diverse, fascinating people of 17th century Massachusetts through free public-history programs.
If you’re curious about how the people of the 17th century lived, loved, worked, worshipped, and died, we’re the group for you. We explore the ideas and lives of all of New England’s people - whether that’s the Puritans aiming to fulfill the aims of the Protestant Reformation by sailing across the Atlantic or the courage and resilience of Native New Englanders in the face of European settlement.
We offer lectures by leading scholars and experts; monthly discussions of primary and other sources; walking tours (Covid-19 permitting); and special events.
We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit with a 20-year history. We rely on our supporters for donations, ideas, and enthusiasm.
