Those are minor gripes. We have the same vehicle but with the Falkan Wildpeaks. Bad choice on the tires, but that's on you. You could have got the Falkans if you had done your homework. The Wildpeaks are crazy good tires. Don't have the brake issue.

Well my 2020 chevrolet 2500hd ltz diesel with the 10-speed is a lemon. I am up to 49 codes and being stranded in 7 states and just short of 60k miles. Chevrolet and their techs have no clue what they are doing, don't stand behind their products, and do not care about their consumers.

11 PM, day after Thanksgiving, night before opening day of deer season, in the pouring rain, in the camp yard, i discovered no four wheel drive. Did you ever try to get a tow truck at night on a holiday weekend in Jefferson County Pennsylvania? Forget it. The tow truck had to come from Clearfield and everything cost double. And the new car warranty company did not pay for any of it. So don't believe the TV commercials. They are bogus, and the warranty sucks, and you pay double to get it fixed because it never covers the electrical problems, and 90% of all the problems are electrical!

I went through the don't start twice , replaced the starter twice, and the wiring harness and the ignition switch and had to clean all the grounds. And had to have it towed twice. Yesterday I tried to switch insurance company but no luck. And I had to replace the rockers and cab corners myself and I am disabled. So this tells me that I am smarter than computer geeks in the GM garage because I fixed what they couldn't. And is this my fault because I have had problems since day one!

I bought a 14, 6 years ago. Replaced both the transmission with the transfer case. I had to replace the wiring harness. 6 trips to the Chevrolet garage. Then another trip to the body shop. The garage wouldn't replace the rocker panel, with body damage. That Chevrolet garage added $500 to the estimate because the previous GM garage didn't do right. Now I have on high risk insurance because the bill was more than $1800

my 09 Silverado 175k with the 6l80 pre thermostat had zero problems great truck except for the new cam and lifters ! now I have a 2016 Sierra same tranny I deleted the thermostat for 20$ and 30 mins work I've put 40k on it and no problems best truck i've ever owned .

my 2018 Chevy Silverado at 51,000 miles had a torque converter failure. I was stranded in Bishop CA and had no choice but to install a new transmission for $7,000. I have reached out to Chevy and going to go head on to have my cost reimbursed. These are now known for torque converter failure. Slipping, Jerking etc... Mine gave up while pulling a grade and my high temp trans light came on. Coasted back into town and reached a transmission shop. They told me fluid was burned and stated transmission is toast.

I have a 14 Silverado 2WD. I've known for years the torque converter would eventually fail and much to my surprise I made it to 155,000 miles before I felt the dreaded shutter. I replaced the trans filter and DEX VI at 75,000. As soon as I felt the shutter between 1st to 2nd, I immediately stopped driving it. I just removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled my 6L80. After purchasing the $1400 Circle D 500HP rebuilt kit, a new 1234-35R drum (cracked weld), 2200 stall billet converter, and all the necessary tooling, I spent $2800. I added a drain plug to the pan and will be changing it every 30,000 miles. Tractor Supply has 5 gallons of DEX VI for 58 bucks, shipped to your door. You need the bearing press tools for 6L80 bushings from amazon, a hydraulic press, a die grinder for cutting bushings out, a parts washer (I used a rubbermaid box with simple green and stole dishsink brushes from my old lady. It sucked. Working off jackstands sucks.

Guy probably bought the cheapest truck he found used and previous owners probably beat it to crap, or he probably beats it to crap with how he drives. And now he doesn't own a purse to whack it with.

My traeger will shut down at 501 degrees. If I set it at 500 it will over shoot and shut down. The highest I can use safely is 475.

2015 Silverado with the 6L80E transmission, at 60 mph all of a sudden it kicks into neutral with check engine light, not only that but i get the gear slamming into second gear at less than 10 mph along with the stalling going into second and the vibration is also there. Going back to Mopar

I have the same year color, rear window and everything, before 5k I had a stutter they they keep saying is the AFM, but because I do work on cars I know,it is the tranny, and the stutter on acceleration is a sign of the torque converter. Doing a lemon law case against GM now.

🤔 This must be why so many are now buying up so many old cars and trucks nowadays.
