Amazing plugin i really love it and i ve been using ot for almost two years. I have a short question, Is there a way to control the pitch of each hit playback and not only for the whole pattern, for example i may want a hi hat to hit different tones and pitch in the right hand side pattern and not only one pitch for all of the sequence. Thank you for the kind words! It's unfortunately not possible to change the pitch in the sequencer. I agree that it would be really neat to be able to do that. I will save the suggestion with the product team for future consideration.

@@xlnaudio Well please advise them to listen to reggae music back in the 80s and listen to Latin music back in the 80s and see who influenced who. It’s called Reggaeton not Latinton.

Ok folks you cant trust any of these Music App Developers. Take XLN for instance who have their "Privacy: Gathering of usage information" checked box enabled by default. What this means is these crooks are already accessing your personal data and selling and distribute it the moment you install their app on your system without your consent (and possibly b4 the app is even installed. Upon trying to log out of the Xln online installer it says "CloudSync will not work if you are logged out" who the hell told XLN to sync a users data in the cloud to begin with or install anything on a users system related to the cloud.

I'd also like to request ability to lock selected samples while switching between presets. The beat combiner is good but there are soooo many great patterns in other presets that can be used for breaks and fills etc. Also, a lot of other drum machines and midi generators have the ability to store multiple patterns and have those triggered by midi. It would be great if XO had this too.

Hmmm 🤔 interesting outlook on producing, and even more interesting sample pack you have from this guy. I will definitely have to purchase XO. Oh btw I told my wife about XO, and what it does, she was impressed, especially with the “galaxy constellation layout of grouped percussion banks (she doesn’t deal with music, but she does deal technology and AI)

@@xlnaudio sorry, I’m an XO power user. I’m just looking for it to have more features than the ones it had when I first started using it. For example, having the ability to set the number of sequence steps, the ability to route each drum part to a different track in Ableton, etc.

Routing to separate tracks have been available since day one, I think this video might cover it well. m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hb2beJxk0Lu8qGQ.html The short tutorial is: find and click the M in the right side of the settings for your slot. It has ®, a hyphen, an arrow, and the M, in a square grid. Click the M to reveal a drop down with options to route to multi out/separate tracks.

I love these type of percs and hi hats, realistic shuffle and realistic stereo gives great depth to a rhythm, ATEQ really mastered his ability to fine tune these parameters from experience and skill and also using vsts that are designed perfectly for his experimental workflow, he seems very in his zone in this video

Hi! Thanks for your plugins! XO, Life and RC-20 are some of the best plug-ins I've bought for my production. But there is one feature that I really want to see in Life. Life really lacks the built-in sample browser! I often use this plugin to rethink the created loops and give them new rhythmic patterns. BUT, transferring loops from an external browser to Life slows down the process greatly. If Life had the same powerful sample browser as in XO, or at least a simple sample browser that gives access to my folders on my computer, with the ability to listen to samples, Life would have become the best sampler (slicer) for me. I will be glad if my message is heard!))

Brilliant! I was thinking you should have added rolls to your drums packs, but this will do though. Time for that update already, you can add this to the packs instead of having to manually add the cymbals!!!!!!!

I've just bought the plugin. It's a great tool for sparking quick beats but needs a longer sequencer or ways to introduce variation. The beats become repetitive very easily. Is that in the works XLN?. You already implemented something for the Life plugin with the pattern variation, density, syncopation etc.., will that be ported into XO?

Thank you for the feedback! You can always import the midi into your DAW to get more control over the beats and create more variations. I can't say anything about what future updates will bring, but I will save your request for porting Life functionality over to XO.

@@svorttsirhc1814 Addictive Trigger cannot separate a full drum stereo mix into separate audio tracks for each drum. But for some stereo mixes it could be possible to get Addictive Trigger to detect the bass drum and the snare and trigger from that.

We released an update for XO very recently that added Double/Half time. Is there anything in particular you are hoping for in an XO update?

@@xlnaudio I like the new update! I still need an option to toggle scanning at startup on and off. I keeps me from having XO in my Ableton template and i dont even let it sit in projects for that reason, i always render the beat as wav. because when i work on a project it will scan through my library multiple times a day if i open and close the project a couple of times. It takes about 20 min for one scan, so it can happen that XO is scanning for hours a day, that is rediculous! Programms like NI Maschine and Loopcloud handle this in a better way imo. I also had problems with intergrating an external USB SSD drive, it made it even worse the scanning took forever and eventually got stuck which forced me to detatch the SSD because my PC froze and i had to repeair the SSD. Something about the scan process of XO is not how it should be, no other programm does it this agressive. Kind regards

Nice app, but as we say in Germany, nice is the smaller brother of shit. The automation sucks. Non of the variatiob nacros are automatable. This needs to be added.

Really disappointed you're charging this much to existing customers. Also, disappointed your new update has no new samples or patterns. When I first started with you guys you were my favorite company. But the last year has been downhill.

One of the most requested feature still is missing: Other time signatures (checked the new update change log, and again - NOTHING). The software (which is otherwise awesome) has been useless for me because of this. This could be THE solution for drums, but no ... The sequencer doesn't know anything more than 4/4 (and 2 Patterns).

Thank you for this incredible video ! Quick question : I am facing a problem with xo : when i export processed samples (with effects applied in xo, for exemple filters or pitch correction), the volume of the exported samples never matches the volume directly heard from XO (from output busses), even with the differents normalization settings. This is very annoying as I usually tweak the sounds and mix them within XO before exporting them. I was wondering if you came across this issue and if you found a way to correct it ? Thank you if you take time to answer :)

My bass drum is too sensitive that even when I hit it with my finger on the rim or on the side, even the front pad, it triggers the sound. How to give it less sensitivity in AD2? If anyone can help, thanks a lot!

This sounds like something that needs to be fixed in the drum module, rather than Addictive Drums. Check the settings for "sensitivity" or "velocity".
