Hi Phil! This is a very helpful video as I was just looking at these backpacks myself. I wonder in terms of your partner Emily since you mentioned that the rucksack did fit her. Did she have Carrion women's size or just standard (the same as yours)? I'm having a hard time choosing between women and standard fit so this would help a lot!

I’ve been considering this pack, but I’m wary of the name. Carrion, by definition, is in essence roadkill… that aside being a taller person I will continue my search! Thanks for a quality review!!!

Better make sure those knots are Very-Tight. Wouldn't want one of them, To fall, Off the wall, On me or Someone else.

I'm 6'2" with this exact bag. Tbf I am all legs and arms. Quite short back, the hip strap fasteners go just under my belly button. It feels OK to me , but my left shoulder saver strap is the same, I put the strap through the buck twice and that's solved it for now. I will upgrade but in I got it for £40, its cost me £2 per night out ish. So we'll worth it to me. But I liked your review and definitely sub👌

Wow, gorgeous! Totally different terrain from anything you've done before eh? What vistas! Are the reflective mats a new addition? Noticed the smoke. Luckily not too thick. Some cooler air at times, eh? What struck me was how much longer your actual hiking must have been every time you had to retrieve your camera. But totally worth it and so appreciated!

Hi Phil. Really enjoyed your video. Just curious...why you chose to hike south to north? Also, what month did you hike? We're planning on hiking at the end of August...hopefully less mosquitos. Again, great job. Much appreciated.
