Hoping to be there Wednesday. SirRidesALot told me that they are saying that the Ring of Fire and Wacky Worm are new this year, even though I know they have been there before!

🤷🏻‍♂️. It was ok I guess. Rides were included with admission, which was surprising since it was a Durant midway. Nothing special, but hey, a county fair is always a good time!

@@jameslitwin5635 I saw G-Force up for sale on a used ride site… not sure if they still use it as like you said, it has been a while. You are right, it does seem like they have downsized quite a bit. I’ll probably head over to the Wayne County Fair in 2 weeks. They at least had their Quasar there (another ride I haven’t seen yet this year).

I thought the “fairgrounds” area was really nice. But as far as rides go, what was in the video was pretty much it for any major rides (Hurricane, Rock-O-Plane, Expo Wheel, Carousel, Slide, and Musik Express). Thankfully the donuts from Lerch’s were awesome as usual! Since it was only an hour and 15 minute drive, I didn’t feel truly disappointed, but still, not one of the better fairs I have been to.

@@RayPVideos Back in the day and at the old location near the swimming pool they used to have a lot more rides. It was a different amusement company that came in then. They had some great rides including Tempest, Tilt-A-Whirl,-Scrambler, Paratrooper, a Ferris Wheel and Rock-O-Plane. I think they had the Round-Up some years too.

I think it’s PrimeTime’s Tilt as the height requirement sign had the PT logo. Not 100% certain though. Still don’t know who the dark ride belongs to. Would love to tell them how much it sucks! 😂. Edit: wait, is that Wade Shows logo on the bottom of the ride? I just now noticed that.

Not bad. Bates’ rides usually look good and the food selection was impressive. Reminded me a bit of the Tuscarawas County Fair, which I’m also a fan of.

I was not. Just went to check out the midway. Seems like a LOT of people were there for it though as the line to get into the fair around 6:00 was pretty crazy!

It was last week and I was unable to attend (which based on past years, isn’t really a bad thing!). I will be doing the Cuyahoga County Fair next week and possibly the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY as that is a favorite of mine. Canfield will be coming up right before Labor Day as well.

They had 2 major roller coasters last year (Crazy Mouse and Iron Dragon)! I give the Ohio State Fair a lot of credit as they make the midway look really photogenic and also credit to Talley Amusements who keep their rides in outstanding condition.

@@RayPVideos i never heard of them rides names before and havent never of lisko own pride either i am not sure about that and pride amusments have a website but have not up dated it yet

@@NoahSmith-gb5go Personally I thought the Warren County Fair was pretty lame. Perhaps it was because I spent 3 hours at Kings Island before coming here, but it seemed pretty small and the rides weren’t exactly state-of-the-art. I usually don’t ride much (if anything) at the fairs, but if I had to pick one that looked the best, it would have to be Casino. For a ride that’s nearly as old as me, it looks like it’s well maintained and moves pretty quick!

Extreme heat and humidity in the mid west

Since I live 2+ hrs away, I will not be returning this season. And I was there from midway opening at 10:00 am to noon, so that may be why it wasn’t busy yet. The parking lot filled to capacity around 3:00 pm from what I heard, so I am glad I wasn’t there then

Booked in by pride amusements I known the Ride for many years one of my childhood rides I saw it since I was 12 and followed the Ride I will miss Avalanche but this one seems getting alot of attention be cool to get on Ride videos of you can if you go back I would love on Ride videos of it very cool video of it off Ride and zipper❤❤​@@RayPVideos

Wow, I did not know that! Talley’s website says Wisdom, and I thought they had messed up. Was this the Super Sizzler that was there several years back (next to the Iron Dragon, 2019 I think)? And yes, it looks very much like Bates’ Twister!

@@RayPVideos the one that was at the state fair then was PrimeTime's. I think they stopped using it as of 2022. I wonder what this Super Sizzler looked like before they redid it

Not sure. Seemed to be running relatively fast, although it is a newer model (haven’t seen one with headrests before!). Regardless, it’s a ride I stay far away from at my advanced age! 🤭

I know right! I love in Wisconsin and these rides are pretty cool! It’s kinda weird that the booster is in the US now. Normally we’d get the kmg style rides like speed

I’m not sure the Spin-A-Tron is a KMG model. PrimeTime’s website claims it’s a Tivoli, and I’m not sure how the Ohio State Fair feels about having KMG rides after the accident several years back. (Yes, there was a Crazy Surf in 22 and 23, but it wasn’t back this year…🤷🏻‍♂️). The Fabbri Booster looked great as I believe it is new to Talley’s midway this year.
