Why would they change them? People also seem to be actually enjoying the broken Golden koi (it's still by far the ugliest deagle tho) so why change something that people actually like? I mean if people like these skins more they will go up in price more making them more popular and in return also helping CS with it. It's really a win-win

The thing people don't understand is , even if they "fixed" it, it would never look as bad as it did in cs:go due to improved lighting in cs2.

i feel like rented skins should have a fixed battlescarred value so they are not beautifull and you can't get something special (you have to buy the fn skins)

This was theorised as soon as the Rental update dropped and people figured out the float values were randomly generated. I'm just surprised it happened so soon. Like, the first Rented skins are only just about getting deleted now, and yet the #2 lowest float of a red skin was already generated via Renting. Statistically, that might suggest that there is a ton of Renting going on right now and that Valve is already making mad bank from this new feature...

I thought from the beginning that they should make a float cap. Like rented skins start from 0.01 and ends at 0.98

He would have most likely never got this skin just to begin with.

They won’t change them, it’s not a bug. The recent patch specifically says they “fixed” gamma Doppler which alludes to the fact that this is intended.

I have no idea why they would do this. It does absolutely nothing for Valve to change knives that players already have, but does everything to the people that own them. Just weird they would betray part of the community for something that doesnt benefit them at all

The first change wasn't intentional, they just saw that they messed up and then put all the skins back as they were. I don't think Valve's focus is on the skins right now. Otherwise they would have fixed all the other bugs

In the end, all dopplers look good. No matter what it is, everyone has something special. There aren't the gems they want to invent but they all look good. It is difficult to know if they will change them again since they do not look like CSGO and for example there are many stickers that have not yet been fixed such as scratched Boston 2018 Autographs. I understand that people want to be millionaires with anything but Dopplers are even more common than before. Before you had 3 or 4 pretty phases, the faces, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Black Pearl, then the common patterns were fine, now they are all pretty and have something to invent, "pink galaxy" "fake emerald" "diamond gem" haha We'll see what's next, maybe something like "holy fire" I don't know, it's funny. They invent, then they complain when they change them :v
