I own the 180. And believe me, all the cars, all the motorcycles, all the pedestrians. Is looking at you when you pull up. It's an amazing time. That said i wouldent mind the new 200. But i prefer the orginal 2-t motor. Its spittig, its funky. With a light tune on the variator, and a sport exhaust. It sounds absolute bonkers!

Rob Ch33rs, YES the WP has a problem perhaps, But if ANY suspension just requires the correct mechanic to be o'ffay with what is " requested " by the rider & is complying ; WELL then ; Team is capable of being at the front & with confidence EVERY race !As expected . Don't FORGET Darren is Probably wanting a space to get back to GP machines !

Frustrating, after this podcast I am left feeling by your comments that Brad not a rider good enough to compete at this level. A Shame and very sad. would have been nice if KTM gave him what he needs.

@@garygrainger5810 how does Brad go from being the only rider to compete against Ducati to back of the Grid… he has not changed and is o e of the best. I will be controversial and say the French team GasGas get a different tyre, just as the world champ Quatarro had… manipulation of outcome
@motoriderworld123 күн бұрын
Not at all. Brad is good enough, the KTM for him at the moment is not. The team don’t seem to be able to give Brad a package to compete with. They need to stop testing so many parts and give Brad a more consistent package to work with.

Oliveira is the only one running 2024 motor spec , factory riders rejected this motor and are running an upgraded 2023 motor. The bike is far from being an easy ride, he failed the test in December, he only had 30 minutes with adjusted geometry on the tests in February because he was testing for the factory and was not allowed to modify the bike. The team is slow delivering the bike setup for tracks because there's no data and they are also testing for the factory team.
@tamasszabo241724 күн бұрын
Put aside marketing,if you were Ducati:which rider would you let go to another manufacturer and being your most feared opposite? Martin on Aprilia or Marquez on Ktm-Gas Gas(with full factory support). Based on ability to win championships and accomodating to new team-bike-tire whatever.

Ducati is spoiled for choice here. Motorsport is a lucrative business and whichever way you perceive it, it's an entertainment industry where money and marketing will influence decisions. JM is doing everything perfectly however MM's resurgence has become the most captivating part of 2024 and momentum is building by the round. JM's use of strong language and veiled threats to take his talents elsewhere aren't helpful to his plight to wear red. Ducati won't be bullied into signing JM when they hold the keys to the best bike. I suspect Ducati Lenovo will sign the eight time world champ as upper level management know the coverage will undeniably be a once in a generation opportunity. IMO, I'd love to see him remain at Gresini on the latest spec Ducati and let his results do the talking but we all know it's not that simple.

My thoughts on the Ducati signing issue. I have two paths I see them taking. Choice 1: Enea stays at Ducati, because they want to respect Pecco and keep the team dynamic in place and give Pecco his front runner position. Martin goes to KTM. Marc stays and gets 2025 bike Miller goes to Honda Binder moves to gas gas Acosta moves to KTM factory Bezzechi gets 2025 bike Mir leaves All else pretty much stays the same Choice 2: Marc goes to Ducati Enea goes to Aprilia Martin goes to KTM Miller goes to Gresini Bezzechi gets 2025 bike All else stays pretty much the same

Remember 2007 when Ducati had the only 800cc that was completely sorted, and Stoner ran away from everyone in his slipstream? I think Honda & Yamaha are going to put ALL resources into the development of their 2027 machines from now. They know the next 2 years are lost.

The Ohlins guys have so much more feedback with the majority of the bikes on them, I'm sure if it was reversed, and most were on WP, the Ohlins guys would be the ones struggling.
