Add a tiny bit of dish soap! It acts as a surfactant and makes the bleach stick to the siding/gutters better

#softwash. All ai need is a 12volt marine battery to run my 12 volt pump? My setup came with a generator just for that little Pump. I think that’s way overkill and adds lots of weight to My trailer and takes up Tons of Room. Don’t want To remove The generator until I know For Sure That a battery is just fine? Obviously I’m just Starting Out How long does the battery last? Do you put It on a trickle charger at night?

#softwash. Have you ever considered a system that runs on garden hose pressure from the house, w/o a tank? I'm wondering if with just the bleach and soap and a proportioner this would work. lmk, and thanks for the great video.

I had 2 8gpm machines but unless your doing commercial was overkill. If i did it again i would just go with a 4gpm machine and like a 24" surface cleaner.

how do you run a 8 gpm pressure washer? I would assume a regular faucet wouldn't give such high output and you would have to use your own water from a water container. Or am I wrong?

Most professionals use buffer tanks so they can maintain full pressure

regular house typically puts out like 4-5gpm so I fill the big buffer tank and hook machine to that so I have more than enough

i agree i quote everything over the phone and if the job is way bigger than planned I would talk about it before getting started. if anything I usually quote higher and rather less jobs but better clients

Does the leak detection give you problems? See the reviews for that pump are either great or they speak of having to swap the heads a lot bc they detect “leaks” and stop working

they all offer some bs, and in realty I find the north star gets me like 3-6months of use and with the 20-40 warranty I just replace it when it goes bad.

You can find them on facebook marketplace people selling them just large water tote I bought for like $50. be careful as some as used to store dangerous chemicals before so you want to find out what they had it for in the first place.
