Hi, your work is really impressive - I am trying to enhance my skill - i use blender and Gimp mainly and sometime krita/ but I would really like to get some knowledge on how to blend image and models so that they come together better / so that my backgrounds etc and skies all tie in together with the foreground colours etc... can you recommend any good reading or instruction videos -thanks
@UsamaJameel8 жыл бұрын
+Temple Green Hey there, thanks for appreciation. I would recommend you should go to Gnomon workshop DVDs and online workshops like in cgsociety. Hope that helps Thanks Usama

@UsamaJameel9 жыл бұрын
shitchops yeah, no projection. Its now 2 years old showreel, I now can do projection in nuke and maya, so I will upload my 3d showreel soon. Thanks for appriciation.

Usama Jameel Where did you learn nuke and maya ? I live in Australia and there is no such thing as a VFX school which is pretty stupid so I use fxphd.com but its still so frustrating with no real solid help from anyone.. sometimes my feelings get hurt
@UsamaJameel9 жыл бұрын
shitchops I learned by myself, some tutorials and online classes. here is the link of CGSociety training.cgsociety.org/ Ican understand the pain you have been through because I have also been through from same situation. Hope it helps. Best of luck buddy.

shitchops Just seen this feed, I'm also learning Nuke. I signed up to Digitaltutors.com - You get a 10 day free trial before you need to pay with full access which is awesome, there's so much software and content on there. If you do I'd recomend the full subscription to download the project files, incase you were still looking :)

Awesome stuff, inspires me to practice this. Where do you usually get the images and pieces for building the scenes, just from online? Or are they like made specifically for the scene?

thanks, I have used images from internet and blended according to my concepts.

Thanks Neha, I am glad that you like my work, but I don't think the link which you have shown, is something related to my work, only thing which is common, is, its editing work or layer-by-layer transaction work. Its a oil painting work which is different from my work.

Thanks Sameh! yes, I use After Effect, and I have also used this software for my showreel also. I have also done 2.5 projection later after this.
