Here's an outline of key moments: 1. Each question that Moniz asks is meant to be disruptive and undermining, and have no connection to anything that Kerry has said. First question: China [6:30]. Second question: [China] [15:39] Third question: India [20:04] Fourth question: [23:26] Moniz makes a bizarre comment that the past 4 years with Trump led to bipartisan support for "innovation" and asks Kerry if that will continue with Biden. 2. On three separate occasions Moniz misrepresents what Kerry has just said so that it represents a Big Oil talking point. - Kerry says that carbon and methane are the major problems in global warming (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7iSmauls92odaM.html), and Moniz thanks him for his "allusion to carbon capture" (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7iSmauls92odaM.html). 3. It all comes together at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7iSmauls92odaM.html when Kerry seems completely depressed and defeated by Moniz' oil & gas question, misrepresenting everything Kerry has said about oil and gas companies, and adding the incredible condescension of "climate adventure." My major question is, If Big Oil came ready for a fight, what wasn't our side at least prepared for the possibility?
