ive always liked the idea of bioplastic, it seems like a simple fix to the plastic issue but when you REALLY think about replacing plastic with this stuff it seems like it wont cut it, a lot of the time plastic is meant to keep bacteria out, if I had a bioplastic zip lock bag, could I use it the same way? If i leave it sitting on my desk with chips in it for a week would it properly keep the air out or would it start to degrade? that's what I wonder as well how log would it take to degrade in a household environment? also is it sticky? cause that would be a problem if it dissolves in water than air moisture would likely get to it... TLDR I love the idea but I wish we could make a kind that only becomes biodegradable once something specific is done to it so "dispose" of it Also WHAY IS EVERYONE SO OBSESSED WITH EATING IT??? Can we go more in the Make it useful rather than make it more edible dang! why yall wanna eat plastic so bad? more sugar = more degradable = shorter lifespan I want it to go away but not before im done using it as plastic, if im gunna eat it i wouldn't use it as plastic....

3:12 "Handy dandy yellow streeeeps" is the most persistent earworm I've had in such a long time. It makes me so happy. I've been giggling for days on end, seemingly apropos of nothing to anyone unfortunate enough to witness, just hearing it repeat in my head. I believe it is contributing significantly to a rapid decline in my overall mental state, and i couldnt care less because it is so goddamn hilarious to me.

Some hot piranha solution would have removed all the organic bits prior to the conversion to silicate. Your sand would have been almost snow-white and have none of those black bits.

You earned a sub from me purely by appreciating Dr. Pepper. (Also cool synth i guess 😏) Also everything up to the 5 minute mark is so relatable to me... "Impromptu flamethrowers, clogged spray bottles, and mold juice" could be the title of my memoir Also can you tell me where your accent is from? As a language autist it is triggering me that i cant place it

Try putting a good handful of table salt into the ice-water baths, it will significantly bring the liquid water temperature down, closer to the temperature of the ice. I imagine it would stay at a low temperature longer too. Alternatively you could just put a very strong saltwater solution ( not supersaturated, keep adding salt until it stops dissolving) in a freezer for a few days. I found that a chest freezer works best.

I see my magnetic mixer hot plate design got produced, gotta love that Apple security that’s only good if they want it to protect you but you’d have to be “in The Club” for that to be the case. Almost 70% of my invention ideas have been developed since I started keeping them on my comp, I’ve never had money to develop even one. I solved the electric car distance problem so you didn’t have to stop for long periods to recharge but that was built over sees to almost exactly what I had, they don’t get everything right because they don’t have the brains and the only reason the other 30% isn’t created yet is because it’s too hard to understand my drunken notes, I can’t even understand most of them. Why bother with inventions when the patents don’t do anything for you but they do somehow protect huge corporations that fund the Deep State so that’s nice. I’m tortured like the original Tesla when the Deep State went after him.

This is from John Green video. "The thing you have to understand about Dr. Pepper Is that Dr. Pepper was invented by Charles Alderton who was a chemist. That’s essential to understanding what makes Dr. Pepper interesting. It’s the product of a chemist. And the chemist wasn’t trying to make a soda that tasted like lemon lime or like citrus. He was trying to make a soda that tasted like the soda fountain at the Waco pharmacy smelled. He wanted it in its essence to be artificial."
