I always hated the character. The resident evil franchise had so many great characters to bring to the big screen. But the filmmakers were like “no let’s create this new character and somehow knows kung fu”.

RE:DS is great but a video on the sercrets and tips on 97’s RE Director’s Cut will be too appreciated!! Also the latest game needs an indepth comparative with the OG 96´s release (item placement, speed zombies, enemy placedment randomizer…).

I was a big fan when it lunched put a lot more hours into this then the 3make. Over 1000 hours the first month but stopped after that month as it was clear the game wasn't going to get much support, ironically, 3 days ago I came back to it and spent 4 hours trying to find a quick match lol, never found one, was super sad about it.

I wish the reception to REsistance was better. I have hundreds of hours in it and would have loved to get more content for it.

Cosmetics that go to a side you never play is awful and a ton of the ones you get are just pallet swaps of the exact same outfit, but once again I never even play survivor. Would have been nice to have stuff for masterminds like the challenges system they made originally offered mastermind specific goals but of course that got chopped. The story behind everything would have been cool, but I honest care about that way less than the broken gameplay. Developers scared of survivors leaving the game due to it being "too hard" just wrecked the game for everyone. Every decent survivor I've talked to has said they agree that masterminds got the shaft and I think that says a lot. Totally agree with the wasted potential. I often think about how stupid the trap cards are, like they couldn't make 1 unique trap card? Basically all of them are just mines with the exception of maybe caltrops. Pretty unoriginal.

This game was fun man, really fun.

Personally what I find neat is how you can clearly tell the RPD in this game is reused from Outbreak and the room at 11:03 was completely wrecked in Outbreak meaning they actually took the time to rearrange the furniture to make it look like how it did in RE2 it’s the little stuff that counts.

I really had a fantastic time playing this game. Probably played it nightly for about a year and still go back to have a few rounds here and there. Name 1 other game with this kinda concept... using Cams to lockdown and torture survivors in a facility. I'll wait but I doubt there is a comparable answer (And no Evil Dead was not the same) What bothered me most was that they never made it a standalone game with only a 6 month contract lifespan. The potential was there. Bundling it with RE3 was a huge mistake when it came to marketting. And then it only got worse with ReVerse.... that was a monumental step back and the game was absolutely dead on arrival. P.S. Had Wesker been added, he would have been his own Bioweapon haha

I still play this game ‘til this day! Love the graphics and the characters. The idea of surviving hoards of RE enemies and bosses while completing objectives together is fun. If you have a good team you can handle most masterminds. Hate that this game is unbalanced. Masterminds seem to have the upper hand especially infinite shield Spencer. If any survivor leaves mid-match survivors have less of a chance of winning. Picking up a survivor takes too long imo. Many lag issues;servers need to be better. When this game was being serviced they were doing good and kept adding stuff like costumes, cards for masterminds and skills! Always hoped they added Carlos, Leon, Claire, and Wesker! Another mode would’ve been great too! Sucks that this game was being compared to RE Outbreak. Even though this game could be tweaked a bit to make the experience better, I still enjoy it so much! It’s a good RE mashup unlike RE Verse 🙄

A good RE game traits. -Story as you said. - Interesting cast and themes. - Exploration and puzzle solving. -Resource management and selective conflict. - Interactive simulator options. Notice how most of the high selling Remakes recently been water down to shooty shooty bang bang against monsters. No alternative routes, endings, and very limited replay value that is bound by achivement hunting instead of actual choices. OG RE 0-3 even CVX and RE 4 has some internactive sims elements make things more interesting especially for first timers. Hell, Capcom focusing on what sells by copying others instead of building their own niche is really stupid of a company. When Outbreak first came out, there were other studios that copied some of its element such as L4D by Valve or Obscure by Hydravision with their own unique twist. A waste of assets and show how capcom never learned. Chief Irons or Four Eyes could have been added as masterminds in Resistance. Better yet characters and scenarios could from Resistance and Operation Raccoon City could have been added as part of the Outbreak series.

the fact that RPD is still fighting against the undead for a week making me feel bad for them. I think they didn't take part in the jefferson bank roadblock where all of the swat and RPD officers got wiped out by the zombies. Or maybe they're just some kind of scout looking for survivors and a way out but they didn't know the station is overrun

Oh man I never got to play Xbox version of Onimusha 1, since we he had a PS2. I really hoped the PC HD remaster from a few years ago would had been this version. This game and the GBA tactical game I am missing from my Onimusha collection. Maybe one day we get the remake and that movie that was promised back in '03. As long as Netflix, Paul Anderson, and the dude behind Welcome to City stay far the hell away from it.

Watching this reminds me of how this could of been outbreak remake but they stopped half way and were like " ya know what, what of we made this a mini game?" Like all thr ground work was set up here but they just decided no, such a shame because I did try to play this but que took so long I gave up. Oh well hope one day Capcom comes back to thr outbreak idea and uses this ground work. ( ya I know a pipe dream but hey a man can hope)

I think Hunk could've gotten to her in time he just didn't want to. That's why Hunk is always the last survivor, he never chooses his team over the mission. I doubt it would've mattered if she was in the same room as him, he'd likely still leave her.

Resistance is the best 4v1 multiplayer game on the market imo. It also has the worst netcode I have ever seen.🙄 When it's good it's unbelievable, but when it's bad it's really bad. I just wished that capcom gave this gem a bit more care so it could see it's true potential. Even now it's better than DBD, TCM and evil dead imo. None of those games give the tension and sense of accomplishment that resistance provides.
