4:05 I disagree with her. If you loose your culture and traditions you might suffer the illusion that you are nobody, but who one IS, is intrinsic to themselves. No one needs anything that is not already within them. Cultures and traditions are external things. They give us comfort and a sense of belonging. But they are impermanent. The Romani culture today is nothing like it was when these people lived in Northern India. So you see, one can loose their culture, then pick up another one, and what about them has actually changed. Nothing. 😊

Well done lady's ,I do prefer slow version of Djelem Djelem . It has more soul and emotions ,once anyone listen to Esma Redzepova it is hard to listen to this fast version with electric instruments . I believe traditional Romani music should be played on acoustic instruments to capture the authenticity of the music . Anyway ,people like different things ... If you speed up Edit Piaf love songs it will loose the essence same goes for Djelem Djelem . ❤

Glad to see Roma safe with the Celts. They’ve suffered so much elsewhere in Europe… Also glad to see Indians wanting to connect with them, like the previous comment from “Abhinav in search of the lost” who has a channel dedicated to building that link. Roma are no longer alone.

This is beautiful. Nationhood and citizenship has a new meaning with social media and the internet. There is a Romani nation made up of citizens in different countries. There is the need to create a Romani nation online. Romani Netizens would constitute one of the biggest groups in the world. You can harness this strength just like the Jews have done. I love Romani people. Their, culture, cuisine, music and colors. Your resilience, cohesion and adaptation in different nations is admirable. With love from Ughelli,Delta state, Nigeria.

As a Roma thank you brother for being respectful towards my people not often we hear good things about us most of the times it’s just pure hate .. by the way you guys have beautiful cultures as well all over Africa .. i love all kinds of African music and dance .. most of the times i see my own Roma gypsy brothers in them because they are free spirited and colourful as well the way some African woman dress is very similar to our gypsy woman specially the way African woman wears their skirts and head scarfs .. your people are blessed very talented in everything ! And the African musicians are one of the best musicians singers dancers the world has ever seen I really mean it .. 🙏 ❤

This is a good thing, but travelers are increasingly their own worst enemy, eg "call out" fight videos, which settled people like me find hilarious. In other words you are quite literally a laughing stock and to put much of your difficulties down to "discrimination" is bullshit. You have swallowed whole the pseudo-liberal canard that you are Victims and thus have no obligation to adhere to any kind of social code. You are not Jews in Nazi Germany or blacks in Mississippi circa 1955. You want a lesson in the real horrors of prejudice then study some history.

I'm not s Traveller or gay but I found this very moving. A gutsy man and how great was his father to say what he did. More videos like this please, so much better than those clan feud videos though I must admit some of them are unintentionally hilarious. Sometimes Travellers are there own worst enemies. Stay strong, Johnny and all the best with your future with Albert. Sometimes two people meet and it's a fait accompli- you've just gotta go with it.

We are so much more than small work. So much more than children and home. I did it, it was hard. I'll not lie. There were plenty of women that've put me down for working as HE lecturer whilst raising the little ones. There still are plenty of women that put me down for speaking, for being with the top professionls, for driving, for forging my own path. That'll be where the hard work gets you. The opportunity to see the younger generations reap rewards too. If you can see it you can be it. Don't let anyone take away your laughter, music and dance. Dance Life to the Sounds of Your Musuc and Laughter xxx.

Are you going to make a video about the chaos and destruction and mayhem being caused by travellers in Limerick? Martin McDonagh and Pavee Point were "appalled" at a funny video done by a Guard in aid of ARC Cancer Research, but they don't comment EVER when travellers fight at funerals, destroy property, intimidate land owners, carry weapons in public, brawl at weddings etc etc... C'mon Pavee Pont and Martin McDonagh....say something!!! Make a KZfaq video condemning traveller violence.
