Ciao

I recently discovered this album, and now it's in my regular rotation. It's well written, and a lot of it applies now ❤

What an utter masterpiece this record is. Somehow it flawlessly embodies that 90s conception of the internet as a futuristic cyberhighway - I feel like I'm living in Mainframe from that show "Reboot!" whenever I listen to it. The atmosphere reminds me so much of the Suda54 visual novels "The Silver Case" and "The 25th Ward", as well as animes like "Boogiepop Phantom", "Ghost in the Shell", "Serial Experiments: Lain" and "Blue Submarine No.6". It vividly evokes early 90s CGI and a montage of cybernetic imagery. It's nothing less than the aural definition of "cyberpunk". Absolute perfection. Uwe Schmidt is an irrefutable musical prodigy, and his prolific output - as well as his myriad aliases - is well worth investigating if you love imaginative music.

This is drumming on instruments. Its not music. This is jamming without the appearance of songs. This is like a composer banging on a piano hoping to be able to compose something but failing. This is like beaubourg by Vangelis.

When the world crumbles, when the structures of a civilization falter, it is good to return to that which in history does not flex, but on the contrary recovers courage, gathers the separated, pacifies without bruising. It’s worth recalling that the genius of creation is also moving in an history devoted to the destruction 💥

Why is it that anything on this earth we do not understand We are pushed down onto our knees to worship or to damn? Those are the rules of religion Those are the laws of the land That's how the forces of darkness have suppressed the spirit of man That's why human beings still walk on all fours Whilst in the presence of their so called superiors Somethings telling you to wake up and salute The dangers of obedience and the violence of truth

The guitar picking style sounds a lot like Andy Summers on the song "Voices inside my head" from the Police. Awesome style from both! Love it!
