Music is still good, there's more good artists than there has probably ever been, they're just not mainstream and a lot of them never come fully into fruition. Mainstream is pretty much complete trash, but if you dig around elsewhere you'll always find exactly what you're looking for.
@emilal4 ай бұрын
Mainstream has always been complete trash - you just don't listen to the old mainstream. Humans will always be humans, and it's stupid to try to claim that art quality has degraded in the last years. People have been saying that since Gregorian chants.
@txwtw4 ай бұрын
I do agree ngl, but if we’re being honest music is at it’s lowest standpoint, yeah there are a few good hidden gems here and there but still it’s weak in terms of quality compared to its predecessors, I still like some underground modern artists here and there though.

I made a I Miss The Old Kanye but changed the lyrics a bit, enjoy, if any of the lyrics sound unnatural or clunky please let me know lol . I miss the old music, straight from the go’ music, chop up the soul music, set on it’s goal’s music. I hate the new mainstream, the bad crap mainstream, spaz in the news music, I miss the sweet music, chop up the beats music, I gotta say at that time I’d like to make music, see someone invented an artist, it wasn’t like any artist, and now I look and look around and see so many same artists, I used to love music, I used to love music, I even had an instrument I thought I was an artist. What if an artist made a song about music called “I Miss The Old Music” man that’d be so cool! That’s all it was music, we still love music and I love you like music loved music.

Music should be art, a form of expression, too many modern artists just see it as a cash grab.
@txwtw4 ай бұрын
Yeah, most of these new artists don’t care about leaving a legacy or changing/revolutionising music or doing a groundbreaking thing that’s never been done before, or making an impact/leaving a mark on the music industry, they just do it either cause of money or they want to get “viral”

When mainstream music was bleeding with passion and heart, while music does indeed have some hidden gems today, it is at it’s lowest standpoint if we’re being really honest.

Will you make a part 2? Also before anyone says in the comments “uhh not all music today is bad” I’m pretty sure the creator of this video is aware of that, he just means modern MAINSTREAM music as the video shows specifically mainstream artists.

Also what editing apps did you use to make this?
@wha7z5 ай бұрын
Sony Vegas and yes I'm not saying "all music bad" . It's mostly whats pushed today to our ears compared to years ago. I also believe theses videos can help younger listeners discover more artists. I would like to make a part 2 with more underated and less famous musicians. Already have everything but the the issue is copyright. MGMT get nuked and i don't want to do it again on some low tier remix to avoid strikes. So I may do a part 2 if I can find a decent remix or another music that match that LDA energy@@txwtw

@hamstreak55915 ай бұрын
@@Noah-ms5yw Indeed! I couldn't agree more! Which is why crutching on the Manntreads to remove any and all skill behind your airstrafing is so annoying; it takes a skillful (yet overpowered) art, and removes all skill from it. And while they're at it, they negate airblast, the one thing that counters them.

Tbh it's mostly muscle memory. Most of the time, you need to fall down a little bit more after you jump before shooting your rocket. It will make you bump on the ground instead of propulsing you as usual. The trick is the weapon swap timing.

There's a reason why I listen to predominantly pre-2010 music. Usually stuff from around 1996 to 2008. There was passion in the mainstream. From hip hop to punk, nu-metal and dace music, there was always something worth listening to. Now, it's just celebrities making music because they want more money. Or at least, that's what it feels like.
