Practically impossible to hold flame at that very beginning. They give you no time to build up enough reserves as you’re going through the shortcut. How did you do that? I can only do 2 perfect boosts and one ok one before the turtle jump.

I have difficulty defeating Mystery Caves Oxide Ghost

This helped me defeat Velo XVII, Oxide was easy on this course so I decided to defeat Velo and it was as hard as Oxide in all the previous courses. Not Sure if I want to beat the Dev (Vincent A) time, I feel like I can do it if I keep trying but damn, I got other games I wanna play 🤣

I really need help, even copying you exactly, I can't make the U turns around the S bend. I always scrape a wall unless I don't hop, in which case I slow down way too much to ever catch up.

I just beat oxide it took me so long but when I watch these vids I dont get how U keep ur fire for so long.. Mine always stops so quick.. When I get the big fire from the boost pads I need 2 perfect drifts asap or its gone..

These guides came up when I searched "Crash Cove Time Trial", they're really good! I already beat mystery caves, dev time is an easy time to beat. I f'ed up and lost sacred flame on lap 3 and somehow still beat it lol.

Right at the beginning I can't go as fast as you were even with speed. Is it the way you do the first boots?

At 0:48, you can take the beam to get to a boost pad that gives you Super Blue Fire, which is faster than the regular Blue Fire

Thank you for the hand cam! I play on PS4, but it still translates well. I'll let you know when I get it. EDIT: I got it. I am now able to quickly switch to the d-pad to u-turn without losing my bearings. It was confusing at first, but then by some fluke, I did the hairpin section almost perfectly, and was immediately able to memorize what my fingers were doing when it happened. It's like riding a bike.
