primate check your game stage you'll find it changes depending on which biome you are in. desert will be higher than forest biome. you missed a med pile under the hay bales in the barn on the second level. most zoms in the desert are ferals. use your impact driver on wall safes to open them much faster.

Physician perk gives you a chance to instakill enemies with the stun baton. It didn't even take two weeks before you forgot about that. 🙄

no matter what tree I'm running I always put 3 into intellect 1 into physician to instantly heal sprains. then 1 into master chef to get 30% quicker cooking 1 into mother lode and miner 69er and 1 into parkour cause parkour saves your life every time lol. then I go ham into whatever tree I'm focusing on. I wouldn't spend too much more energy on the horde base in the forest biome if you're going to move soon mate. you need to not put those round blocks in your next base they impede your hitting ability. put some scaffolding bars around the rim of your roof to get out above the zoms

you know the best way to make sure they see the block as a viable path? put a full block in and put base on the floor. fight them like a man! lol

The junk turrets return 100% of experience on kills. It's the fences, blade trap and the wired turrets that only return a fraction. Okay, I heard it one too many times. You DO NOT want to slow the Zs down. Slowing them down is the exact same thing as "letting them build up their numbers until they reach maximum alive while encouraging them to go into destroy area mode" 🙄 You want to give them the smoothest, most direct path into your kill zone so that you can kill them faster than they can spawn. The Zs get a damage bonus the more Zs are near them. It's all about throughput. That base would not survive a max horde on max game stage. Since you're sort of stuck with the base that you've got, here's how to fix it... Move the hurdles back to the other side of the fence line so that they're stunned as they're falling instead of before they try to jump. This will increase the fall rate. Get rid of those circles on your barrier and flip those scaffolding ladders on their sides so you can get a horizontal swing in with the stun baton. For the dogs, you do not need to build a ramp all the way up to your path and connect them. You just need something that they can climb that makes it easier to shoot them. The first thing the ai wants to do is match your height. Other than that, carry on with what you were doing.

Put a trim of bars (face down) around the top, and then you can shoot down and get the dogs

On top of your horde base place scaffolding ladders on the side to stand on and shoot down and throw explosives at zombies

That horde night was as smooth as silk and getting double rewards was the icing on the cake of the day!! Keep rockin' Primate!

Old habits die hard. Until you get a full mining set you can take off your armor and put it on your toolbar when you have to dig. The best thing that you can do though is actually plan out your horde base so that you're not using excess materials and for you specifically that means to stop building pyramid ramps. 🙄

as far as spending points like you mentioned, in the last episode. as long as you put you main offensive points in the applicable tree yes it's ok to put points into other trees to help get along otherwise it's useless. like banging ya head against a wall and expecting it to break the wall. Monkey boy little tip if your gonna spend more than 3k with a trader use a sugarbutt candy and you will make so much more profit selling and save when buying.

For a low points investment in mining I would make some mining armour, gloves and hat are the good ones iirc, at least tier 3 for the hat, and chuck in the cigar and strength mod. That gets you to 3 strength which I think enables you buy p to rank 3 of miner 69er. A bit situational but then also means that if you take off the helmet you remove the loot boost to tools mags.

Yeah, I kind of despise single tree builds as a matter of principle, but that being said you don't even need to put points into mining, farming, or scavenging thanks to the armor sets. Also, Better Barter and Daring Adventurer is literally designed so you make enough dukes to just buy whatever you need. Jack of all trades, master of none. That's sort of what you're doing here.

nah you were right the first time zoms wont path on an open door its like the side block. yes as others have said you need to put some step blocks in for the doggos and bears. but @JaWoodle wasn't wrong they have changed the AI pathing now they will path first to your height or as high as they can get then go laterally to get to you. so if they get under you they will go into destroy area mode rather than path to you. you should be reading your wiring books to make generators and battery banks. you maxed out daring adventurer you get 2 choices for rewards.

The problem is that Jawoodle is wrong about the ai changing. It's literally the same ai, just processed quicker. All the "new" behaviors he talks about were all there, just being skipped over by the slower processing and when it went through it was discarded as a glitch. There is a big advantage into turning the game speed way way down in that it always allowed the ai to process completely.
