That Kaweco sketching pencil looks nicer than the current offerings. Is it vintage?
@APeachLife2 сағат бұрын
@@user-qj4dx4fc3n hi, you got a really good eye with the Kaweco pencil. Although it’s not vintage it isn’t the newer style either, It definitely leans on a more older style. I still to this day haven’t seen another just like it. I got it many years back at a little specialty stationery shop In Florida. It was definitely a great find. Thanks so much for watching. 😄

Thank you for showing the writer's pouch. On the website it's hard to see the pockets inside. Just about to order one as soon as I decide on a color. I have 2 large Sendaks rolls slate and moss, A Saver pouch in slate, Scribblers pouch in moss, and a Scholar pouch in slate. I like to piggyback the pouches on the top of my Sendaks. The leather strap slides right thorough the Peg and Awl leather logo strap so stays nice and secure but offers me extra space.

I so love the writers pouch and I'm sure you are going to as well. You really have a great collection of Peg & Awl pouches and such. I like how you shared about piggybacking the pouches on top of the sendak and right through the logo start. Brilliant idea!!!! I will sometimes do something similar through my small tote and pouch. I share this in one my more recent posts about my peg & Awl travel bag. Thanks so much for sharing with me. Enjoy your new writer's bag when you decide on color. I noticed that it rarely comes in different colors. So I grabbed it while it was in stock. Thanks so much for watching and sharing.

The newest P&A mini waxed canvas totes ‘Of A Kind’ are coming out 🔜 💕 So tysm for this very, very timely “come pack with me” vid❣️ I never could really get an idea from the pics on the site beyond that the mini totes are baby’s butt cute. Still I kept going back onsite to them and “gazing”. Now, I happen onto your video -‘cos as new subscribers are want to do, I’m cruising your channel space- and I’m completely hell’s-bells bent to get the mini Of A Kind soon as they’re up - yours is one too, right?- only I’m going for the extra long strap to make it a good crossbody. My tendency is to wonder coffee shops whenever, diners for lunch, & kick back a little bit at whatever public lawn or patio setting I can take an outside study-hour/art journaling break at, so this mini as a crossbody is everything I’m really looking for at the moment, knowing I can pack it light or stuff it. This is goodness to my eyes, so thank you for the full-view❣️

Hi, I so enjoyed reading your comment, thanks so much for sharing. Yes is the is a mini OF A Kind tote by Peg & Awl, you are correct. Incase you don't already know, the Of A Kinds go so fast once they are posted so be super quick and ready if possible. If I had the longer strap I would definitely utilize that more as you mentioned you would as well. I'm so happy to hear the video helped you with the sizing and deciding of the tote. You will absolutely love and enjoy having one. The mini size is so perfect for a few things or to pack some extra goodies As well. Thanks so much for subscribing, watching, and commenting. Please let me know how you like your tote when you get it.

Your sketchbook fits, but you will need to remove the bulky pens, glad you figured it out. The same thing happens on mine. I have both sizes of art toolkit bags and use the smaller one the most, surprisingly. Even though I use an A5 sketchbook and carry it separately. It is just so easy to throw in my bag due to its small size. Thanks for sharing your review.
@APeachLife5 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for sharing and you are exactly right about the bulky pens needing to be removed. I ended up getting the larger size art toolkit bag and just like you, I end up using the small one. It is just so perfect the way everything fits and it’s grab and go size. Thanks so much for watching and the comment. 🥰

I searched your social media, and to my surprise I found all these expensive art supplies and stationary products but nothing about your art or creativity. Are you just an art supply collector? Everything looks so neat n tidy, but also untouched! Where is all your art at?! Also, quite brave to take the stitching out of a 135 dollar mini pencil case, couldn't you have put the case in the back pockets instead and left your slots open for more Pencils etc? It's your case by all means, I just find it baffling an artist would want less slots in their case, permanently and after the price point.
@APeachLife6 күн бұрын
Hi, my art and all that I create can be found all over all of my social media platforms, all I do is create away. Thank you for the tidy comment, I strive to have an organized work space. Also, I utilize products and organizational items in all price ranges. As I have shared in many past videos and on lots of my other social media forums. All can be found by going to apeachlife.com Brave, I definitely am to alter the wonderful Peg & awl mini Sendak and I just love it. That’s the beauty of creativity and creating. We can all do the things that work best for us. Hopefully this helps to clear up some of the questions . Thanks so much 🥰
@grlRex4 күн бұрын
@@APeachLife Gosh, perspectives sure abound, don’t they? I for one appreciate when an artist explores products and supplies, especially the more expensive. You give me the opportunity for a close up look-see and allow me an informed choice -sometimes giving what I can know to look for in a “dupe” or store (e.g. dickblick, Amazon, $ tree) brand. -Also it was super interesting to see the iteration of the Sendak mini you have. My own has 8 pencil/pen/tool/brush slots and might be vaguely “longer”, but hasn’t the medium-ish pocket in the same row… Still my point is as many times as the budget mayn’t always be able to bear the weight of the “good stuff” exactly when I would like, I also can’t afford to waste my expression by employing “cheap” supplies. Even my failed pieces, plateaus, and sometimes eerily primitive starters have always shown me something, so I do find “my work 😋” deserving of the best mediums/materials appropriate and possible. It’s kind of like shoes in my estimation: your body can’t always afford for you to get the cheapest pair you can find, nor sometimes the most aesthetic. Discernment, valuation, awareness, & unbiased experimentation is how to present yourself the best solutions to serve your needs, yeah? And snobbery -up or down- is just a not so subtle way of showing out 🙃.

@@grlRex I to love seeing other share products and helps me when thinking about ordering. I always try to share different perspectives of an item when possible. Plus I tend to find new and different ways over time to utilize the items I purchase and love to share those ideas. I’d love to learn how you made those washi cards. Like what did you wrap them on? Id love to do the same thing so i can put them in the hobonichi card holder
@APeachLife6 күн бұрын
Hi, a lot of times people use playing cards because they have a coding on them to add the washi tape too so it doesn’t stick. For mine, I had some old cropper hopper clear dividers and I cut them down to fit. But even card stock or any other items can be cut down to utilize in the same way.. thanks so much for your question and for watching 🥰

I love my pocket ArtToolkit! I have the larger one too but use the small one the most. In the small one I have two pocket palettes, two water brushes, a mechanical pencil, tombow eraser, micron, white posca pen, travel brush, small collapsible water cup, shop towels, spare lead for my pencil, AND a small Stillman & Birn Beta sketchbook! It’s the perfect grab and go kit for line & wash travel sketching.
