Can’t stand these dirge like covers of this tune. Gimme the Jennifer Warnes or the Aaron Neville versions. Put me to sleep with this stuff

Less than 300 likes since posted 12 years ago, surely a crime that needs to be reported to the music police for this is off course nothing less than wonderful.

Judy is a champion and a survivor, and a fantastic story teller in her songs......I've been a fan of hers since the 60's, and still am.

Love Judy Collins. Great voice, she always deliver. Disappointed with the BSO. Am I missing something? All I heard was a Piano, I think. Could have been great like Gary Brookers' White Shade of Pale live in Denmark 2006.

What a beautiful woman and that song reminds me of so much in 1969 when it was playing. What a voice!

In 1957 I was in love with the music of the Kingston Trio! Was over joyed to find them again in The Villages, Fl. Took me right back 60 years ago when I was young and yet to find love.

Magnificent! What a voice and personality. I like Joni's version more but that does not change that this is just excellent.

Hear this through my depression when I was 17. But love the original version on "Wildflowers" even more. I find this one sounds a little like she is trying to get through the song it sounded too fast and finish it. Check out Sky Fell on that same album. Have 2 copies of Wildflowers to keep one in the car and one in the bedroom!

When I lived in Dublin, one of my housemates was friends with Sandy Denny, Sandy visited us a few times. We would sit by the fire, drinking tea, and singing until dawn. Her voice was so beautiful and she was so much fun. We all loved her. We were a tight group of friends. One was Neil Jordan, the director but at that time we were all still in college. Susie and Brian, the owners had a beautiful 2 year old, Aoife. I loved playing with and reading to her. She must be in her fifties now. Who knows where the time goes?

Our sensitivity to the feelings of others makes us suspicious around patriotism. And we surrender that arena to extremists, Republicans and religious bigots.
