Glad to see more BMW cars again, beige leather seats are very comfortable inside the 535i. 6-cylinder engines run permanently, did you know that yesterday was my anniversary.

How could you improve probably it's greatest weakness? which so many say is the lack of good seating support and uncomfortable front seats ? (especially in the cloth LT 1 trim) (would upgrading via a third party to leather( extra thick ) solve this problem?

How do the premiers stack up against the BMW i3? I was looking into an i3 but was reluctant due to the range to price and was looking at bolts

It looks like a 2012 Chevrolet Volt, but I do like the Bolt EV that has the electric motor.

Just bought one of these at a police auction for $750. 65k miles and runs like new. I’m a “tradesman” myself so I lucked out with the bigger payload capacity. Wanted something with a better ride than a truck but could also handle some stuff thrown in there. Also if anyone is curious it’s 7ft of space from the cage to the rear door.

I really love this car but I feel like the eldorado died in the previous generation. It slowly turned into this small deville coupe but is a beauty nonetheless the less and a very comfortable car.

In 1994 I was 22 and was shopping for my first car to by on my own. . I looked at these but my friend convinced me, also after a great test drive to get a 1990 Eagle Talon AWD Turbo. Though it was a fun car and very fast for a 22 yr old and long gone, I wish I could go back in time, and tell that 22 yr kid to by the red Toyota truck instead as it would run forever. Oh well...........

I have been driving Crown Vics and Grand Marquis for over 30 years. Most reliable cars ever made. I currently have a 2006 with 387,000 miles on it, still has the original engine and transmission. Unfortunately, it is (was) white, and about half the white paint has peeled off. I've been driving it for 11 years, with almost no problems. About 10 months ago, I found a like new, one owner, 2007 model with 36,000 miles on it. I am a recently retired mechanic, and I gave it a good going over. The only thing I found wrong was it needed new wipers. They had just put new tires and brake pads on it. The bottom was as clean as the top. It literally looked brand new, inside and out. And the seller had a stack of maintenance receipts for it. I paid $10,000 cash for it, no taxes, no fees of any kind. I'm going to drive the 2006 until the engine fails, then keep it for a parts car for the 2007. I've taken a few highway trips in the 2007, but have avoided putting stop and go miles on it. I routinely get 30+ mpg on the highway at 65 mph with the cruise control on. It has a range of over 400 miles. I worked for a city fleet services department for 37 years. That's where I learned how reliable these cars are, and how easy to work on they are. I have all the tools necessary to work on them, and I know them inside and out, top to bottom.

Is it normal for the throttlebody light to come on and then go off at startup
@70TruckGuyАй бұрын
Oh, my favorite car to rent whenever I could! This vehicle is what Detroit's big three ALWAYS did well: comfortable long-distance durable vehicles. Between GM''s Caprice platform and Ford's Panther platform, every police car and taxi for a while was one or the other. Rear-wheel drive meant these vehicles could handle serious police incidents better than front-wheel drive vehicles could (being nose-heavy). Today this particular style is carried by the Dodge Charger, which is built along these lines. Ironic, isn't it? Chrysler's last "big" sedan was the Dodge St. Regis/Plymouth Fury/Chrysler Newport, which were discontinued in 1981, surrendering to Ford & GM. Now both of those manufacturers have abandoned that market, leaving Chrysler to swoop in with a great design.
@geraldscott4302Ай бұрын
The Charger is no more. It was never a real alternative to the Panther cars. Way too much TRASH technology, unibody construction, and a very harsh ride. The Chrysler 300 was more comparable, but even it is a unibody car, nowhere near as tough and long lasting as the Panther cars. And it is now gone as well.
