Is it an absence of knowing how to express oneself? or do metal fans prefer to enjoy the music and the performance and don't want to miss any details if they are not paying attention ... students of metal in the audience lol

ha ha ha .... this is just so fun to listen to again. So, why not just go on pirating it? You could use Winnie. Or, maybe not as it is not working anymore. BTW - just a thought - maybe pirating is not all that koscher if you area reactor. Just saying :)

I'm old and I've heard many fantastic bands over my many years. Countless bands have released great songs but none have released as many as Band Maid. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say they are truly a miracle. The reason I think they are the best rock band in history is not only their songs but their Humanity. I honestly mean better than the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and so many more. The previous all have great songs but they have many that I skip over. Not so with Band Maid. Those other bands have nothing regarding their Humanity and love for their fans like Band Maid does. As far as I can remember none of those other bands have ever written songs dedicated to their fans. I love them because they have brought music back into my life. I had given up on music many years ago because it wasn't interesting and didn't appeal to me. I wish they would have come out 30 years ago so I would be able to hear 30+ years of Band-Maid. Thank you Band Maid for existing. I dearly love each and everyone of you.

Crazy to think this song is almost 10 years old. Edit: Released almost 10 years ago. The songs was probably written 10 years ago.

As long as weak Western dudes don't have their ego bruised by these Japanese ladies showing us how to do it, the future of music is here and I can't wait. Rock and Roll shouldn't have ever been a boy's club, and I couldn't be more excited for all of these all-girl bands from Japan.

You should check out the Five of a Kind (aka Live at Zepp Divercity Tokyo 2020) version of this. It's a little tighter, and the guitar is a little nastier, and the keyboard backing track is mixed better! Miyako plays a Les Paul in that one, whereas she plays the "Dimebag" Dean in this one (the Les Paul sounds better for this song).

The ad cut thing was something they only did on their first three or four videos. It was as much an anti-piracy tactic as it was for advertisement. They re-released all of those videos without the ad breaks a few months ago.

Wes used his thumb - no pick. The story I heard was that when he was coming up in Indianapolis, he would work all day at a factory or steel mill or some such and would have to practice at night at home while his wife & kids were sleeping. He practiced with his thumb so he could play more quietly & not wake them

In Japan, only cute young groups can appear on TV, so full-fledged rock bands are having a very hard time. The only way to save them is to buy their CDs and DVDs.
