I let the oils sit in the herbs for 3 weeks then I filter it with a cheesecloth and let it sit for another week before I actually put it into the bottles

Good one but I won’t suggest using rose petals as they don’t sit well with melt and pour. Also I tried adding salt to the base and it worked. Not from outside. Petals can catch bacteria so you may want to watch out, love the color no doubt!
