I’m an Irish citizen as I had obtained my passport by proving that my mother was born in Ireland. Now my kids would like to get their passports. Can they use my poor do they have to use my mothers birth certificate? My father was also born in Ireland but I didn’t obtain his birth certificate. I was not born there and I obtained my passport after my 4 kids were born. Please help?

Yes, they can just register on the foreign births register as one or more of their grandparents was born on the island of Ireland. @thepolacoxxl not quite... there are very good reasons that I won't get into in the comments (look it up) but in your specific home-user non mission-critical and non life-critical (I'm assuming) use-case then if it works ok I'd be happy to leave as-is 👍

@@SwitchedOnNetwork standards are made so that if the cable is faulty or cut and someone has to make a new clip it wouldn't be mirrored anymore. That's the only reason i can see. But it's logic if the cable doesn't work I would go on the other end and wire it as well same way...

@@SwitchedOnNetwork thanks 🙏, can I ask what could possibly cause a speed of just over 600 mbpbs when I’m on 1GB connection. I’ve got one cable in the wall with the jacks on the wall. A cable from the modem to the wall. And a cable in the outlet upstairs. But can’t seem to get near 1GB

Just one, which should be next to your router for Internet. Just make sure you can plug in your PC in whichever room you're in too!

It depends on how many devices you need to connect at the other end. You might need a second switch if you want lots of devices going back to the main router over that fibre link

I had everything I needed to aplly in December 2016 and have decided to apply now, My father was born in Clonmoyle East in the cottage his father built. The last item I needed was my father's birth certificate, I was surprised that it say Birth certificate in both languageswhich I expected. I fly to Dublin on Tuesday 2 days from now but after ready online have decided to wait until I'm in Sheffield (my hometown). I hope many watching this successfully get their Irish passports, it's a wonderffull place.

Thank you so much for you're tutorial. I was able to wire 7 keystone jack and rj45 connector. Also for the link, just brought from Amazon, work very well. Tip, do not do what I did. When you wire the rj45 connector, makes sure the connector is facing down so the push connector needs to be facing down. I put the wire in but it was the wrong way around. Orange swipe is 1 and brown is pin 8. I did this for 7 wires so had to cut it off and rewire. When I used the network tester, the keystone jack and rj45 connector tested perfect... Light on from 1 to 8.
