What a great game to learn! It'd help up your skills, big time. Ages ago someone taught me: warm up on a billiards table. Then, move to an 8-ball table. You'll CLEAN UP. And, he was RIGHT! Then I learned 3-ball pool, the rule being sink them in under 5 shots. Between those two 'practice' games, a bit of billiards, then some 3-ball - you'd be amazed at how well your 8-ball game improves. 3-cushion billiards would be similar - play for a bit, and your skills would, I bet, improve massively.

Yes, great point of view. You train basically cue ball control, which is fundamental for position play.

Yes, and that's the same reason the "standard human" (99% of you) is a fan of Efren. It's his balkline/3-cushion experience that he brings to his pool game, same as Jeanette Lee (but she's female so no one idolizes her same as any women sports compared to men's sadly). They call efren the goat because of it though he has no goat record (think Michael Jordan, SVB, Earl Strickland etc... achievements no one else in the world holds or can beat, and actively tries to beat)

Efren was initially playing 3 cushion, but switched to Pool for the better prize money. Also he had to use pseudonyms to hide his capabilities.

Thanks for comment, there are sone reference positions and i use these. There is no system i use for this type of position.

I don't see it that way. But I use heavy english and great cueball positioning like a Buddy hall or 1970-80's Earl Strickland. So I'd be great at this (learning this now along with balkline and other games)... 8ball and 9ball are too easy... banks and one pocket as well. This is something better.

He can strike the white or yellow ball and must hit the opposite color. After hitting he must hit 3 rails before hitting the red and therefore scoring him a point and whereever the balls stop they shoot from there and the rules be first to 50 or 100 and etc.

Hey, this is a good question. Half ball hit is when your cue ball center point is aiming to the most outer left/right point on the object ball. So it is not volumetric or area specific. It is just linear.

These cloth are just a soft cushioning which I cut out from an old towel 😅. I think I had just glued them on.

@@shtfeu after ball 3 hit, ball 3 is touching the cushion. For me this is clear sign, that cue ball hit first the ball 3, then the cushion. If the cue ball would have come out of the cushion, ball 3 direction would be away from the cushion. But that's only my opinion. Why you think it was a point?
