Wish you people would post the videos of these weirdos so that everybody else is warned. Talking to police does nothing when they haven't actually done anything. Sad there is such a lack of real men in the world today to deal with these folks. If your actually ~10 days ahead of postings, there's no security risk for yourself. I don't watch this channel..it was just in my feed. Seems to be a common thing on the AT compared to the PCT. It's not shocking at all either.

My wife and I watched the video on your terrible encounter with the stalker and we were disturbed that you had that experience. I am glad that you were able to spend some time with Lone Star to regroup and I hope that you are doing well mentally and physically. BTW, I hiked to Dalton instead of the Kay Wood Shelter after Upper Goose Pond so I could get halfway up Greylock the next day. Keep your smile and representing the hammock campers!

I was thinking to myself that you sound odd but familiar. You're a Bay Stater so it makes sense now. I've been away from Western Mass for 25 years now and people still tell me I have an odd accent but I can't hear it. Every once in a great while I'll talk to a friend back home and think ah, that must be the accent they speak of. And from what I've seen of other people's videos people have been stopping and camping in North Adams. I think a person that finished the trail last year has opened up his yard and amenities to hikers somewhere near the trail and it's getting to be a popular stop so maybe they all went there (Even though this was probably a month ago old news by now)
