I loved going to pow wows and seeing all the different tribes in their ceremonial dress.

Excellent dance on the juniors part and special shout out to whom ever made the incredible regalia. A joy to watch.

This dance mimics the flight of a butterfly with the waving of intricate shawls like wings. Please don’t use words like “strange” or assume all dances are “war dances”. Native American culture is complex, with much greater depth than racial stereotypes would have you believe.

The singing and the drums actually scare me. Is this a war-dance?

Spokane territory once sprawled out over three million acres of land. Now their reservation is around 160,000 acres. Still, their people are thriving.

These ladies need to take their show on the road! What beautiful native costumes; I loved the capes especially. Such vivid colors, and all of them different. I hope you perform more than once a year. Come to San Diego!! And thanks for posting.

This is the last PowWow, Jayleen's Gramma-Daphne Maxime went to before she passed on Aug.12,2023...she was so proud of her Grand-daughter and had to make it...drove all the way from Wenatche, WA USA to Kamloops, same day I believe...to make it there to watch!! She is in the middle with red ribbon skirt & white tank top taking a video...🥰good job Jayleen!!😍and congrats to all the winners!!👍

I'm not a Native American, but I truly care about the heritage, it was very cool to see this, more should be done to bring to light the customs and history of our "True Landlords". The true custodians of our planet.

Wow! This is amazing. I feel so proud. Beautiful. Sitting here watching this dance reminds me of my grandmother telling us stories about when she was a little girl on the rez. R. I. P. Mother
