Since you need to redraw the canvases at some point anyway i usually always try and do so right after the dmg buff falls off, and before i need them, especially if i can do so in moments of low movement needed

Swiftcast the creature motif and pop it, to get it recharging, then 123 combo until swift comes up then hammer motif, etc. I only stack to 100 while fighting trash to get the extra palette shift on the boss, on bosses, hit the palette shift as soon as it hits 50, if your white paint hits 5 stacks, pop holy right before blue so you don't waste a white paint.

@@AnnaMorgenstern Due to the recast timer, swiftcasting the paintings doesn't make too much of a difference, so it's a very situational thing, like needing to move while also needing to paint at the same time, but in terms of the rotation, hardcasting your paints is something you should be doing most of the time.

After the opener, you can consume all the remaining charges of the motifs (by this time, right after the opener, 2 charges of Creature Motif should be up, and at least 1 Hammer Motif), then if no motifs are up, you can 1-2-3 Palette 3-2-1 combo. You can keep using the 50 paint to use Subtractive Palette (much like an RDM with their melee phase), if fight is movement heavy you can delay the subtractive palette use. If you see burst phase coming up, you can start casting and prepping your 1. Starry Sky Motif (or just Swiftcast it honestly). 2. Creature Motif as either Winged or Maw Muse (since Mog of the Ages/Retribution of the Madeen is key during burst phases). and your 3. Hammer Motif. No need to think about paint during burst because you have a free Palette from Starry Muse. That's pretty much it. The burst rotation priority can change depending on which one you're more comfortable to use but the most important part is you're able to use Mog/Madeen inside burst phase.

Picto is freeform between burst windows. You do your opener, then whatever the heck you want until the next 2 minute buff, as long as: * You have all your canvases painted for the next Starry Sky; * You are set up to have both creature muse and Mog or Nadeen under burst; * You are set up to do hammer motif. Every 2 minutes you go into burst; when Starry Skies is at 10 seconds, if you have or are about to get a new Creature Muse charge and don't have mog/nadeen, spend it, then Hammer Muse, then paint Creature Motif, then Starry Skies, hammer & dump oGCDs between, Subtractive combo, star prism, comet, Rainbow Drip. Basically, you do your opener every 2 minutes and then as long as you follow the ABCs and make sure you're set up for your next burst, you can't play it wrong.

Bear in mind you can also switch up the sequence! It's entirely free flow so long as you cram everything in. This is especially useful for heavy movement mechanics early on a fight during the opener

I tried the one from Tyrannacon up closer to the boss. I got it to work the day BEFORE 1.17 or whatever the newest patch was came out on first try. I tried it again the day after the patch (when the dlc released) and there is now like a kill floor / wall you hit at the same height and you die. I tried it like 10 times and it seems to me they added some kill boxes or whatever the term is (can't remember).

Playing field does 200% of max hp, so you just need a shield that big.

The AST would have to heal two people, so probably about same. If you mean your classes you have are AST and BLM, all healers can do this solo.
