I think GRIS doesn’t have a silent S or a French R, but absolutely not sure since I haven’t played this game. But I’m assuming since the developer is Spanish. I have had harvestella basically since it came out and i have ywt to play it lmao But your thoughts definitely bumped it up in the like to-play queue for me!

Oh I also have a hori split pad! Not the compact but the like older bigger version? And i really enjoy it, the sticks feel sooo mich better than regular joycon ones! I was also surprised why they're so light but its probably because (atleast the version i have) doesnt have a battery and just works when attached to the console. Hope you'll br happy with the controller! Also, I was kinda mesmerised by the tetris gameplay in the end there lmao

I always brute force any combat system in any game I play because I refuse to block and always mash the buttons to win, so I feel you with xenoblade combat, but I want to give it try soon

Harvestella was a surprise for me. I got it for Christmas and I couldn't put it down until 100% it. I found the first 3 chapters a little slow, but then things got wild around chapter.. 5 I think. The writing was amazing. If this game had voice acting it would be at a whole other level.

Ohhhh this Harvestella description is GETTING to me.... it's still on my wishlist of games but I really should finish the ones I'm currently playing. Octopath traveler 2 has had a stranglehold on me, and I also haven't finished FE Engage (which already has its full DLC out? crazy). Saying Clanne's voice sounds like Goofy is SO MEAN but I can't exactly say you're wrong either 😅 I made him a mage knight, and the horse he rides wears a little wizard hat! Very cute, highly recommend doing this with the mage characters.

the winter sales are always sooo tempting, i think i did better holding back than past years but still bought a few. i keep almost picking up octopath traveler, especially now that i know there's a sequel coming (tho i don't have a switch so who knows when/if it'll actually be ported to pc). slay the spire is great for just picking up whenever! i often do the daily runs cause they have such random rules and limits that can end up terribly or you'll stumble across some really fun buff interactions i played through hellblade recently which was quite an experience, the devs did a lot of research to try to model the main character's experience of psychosis in an authentic way. and then a friend got me into divinity 2 and i got absolutely addicted, i have a feeling it'll be my gateway into tactical isometric rpgs

The nintendo eshop is honestly a blessing and a curse at the same time. I might have bought way too many games over the holiday period as well but most were less than 10 euros or I found them used because some people got gifts they didn't want 😅 Slay the Spire sounds great to me since I love boardgames... It's now on my wishlist lol

I also bought a lot of games in the sale, including ryza 2. I have been a fan of the ryza series since 1,5 years now. I started with atelier Lulua, which I can definitely recommend since it is an amazing game, and I played the mysterious trilogy as well. And I started playing ryza 1 as well and I love it too!

Triangle Strategy! I was so hyped for it when it first released and when I finally got it on sale, I was too burnt out from gaming to want to play it. But it'll be in my library for when I want to pick it up eventually :') I'm playing Ring Fit Adventure every morning this month with Master Trainer Peter's kickstart program so that's been taking up most of my gaming energy lol. Hoping I can make it through the whole month and get back into exercising regularly!!!

I really loved the little I've played of Octopath traveler! It felt like a pretty simple story with good music, pretty graphics and fun mechanics, which is a perfect cozy combo in my book. I've been intrigued by fire emblem for years and more recently by triangle strategy but for some reason tactics games intimidate me so much and I'm scared my brain isn't good at strategy stuff. I haven't played that many games lately but with an official release date on BOTW2 I finally decided it was time to beat the final boss in BOTW. So I did that over winter break, and it felt great!! Managed to find a few more koroks in the process :)

Hades is one of my favourite games. It became one my comfort games. You die, you die a lot. But dieing never feels like a failure because there's also something new when you die: cut scenes, interactions between character, story elements. I love it.

Woo!! Another Three Houses fan!!! I started with Blue Lions as well (it's still my favorite), but the other routes are fantastic in their own rights too! Great collection and video--can't wait to see more from you!!

Nothing wrong with lookin after your pennies and waiting for the free version of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I'm doing exactly the same ... not to mention waiting for Disney Speedstorm (a Disney themed free-to-play kart racer), and also Star Wars Hunters (a free-to-play Star Wars arena shooter). So much 'free' Disney gaming to look forward to on Switch in 2023 ... hopefully :-)
